I review contractors by 4 criteria. Communications, their ability to communicate in a timely and orderly fashion. Quality, their ability to complete the job with satisfaction that it is done correct and solid. Time, be able to complete the given task on time or if problems arise be able to estimate how much more time is needed accurately. Value, given the specifications give the best workmanship for a fair and reasonable price.

Communication:
Let me say I’ve tried to get quotes from numerous contractors and Sunil was the only one to get back to me within a day. Through out the whole contract Sunil would make sure that he would let me know times and dates and stick by them. I’ve never had a contractor be so attentive with communications. He had to come in another day to finish up some small things and was in communications with me the whole week to schedule the best time to come in to finish.

Quality:
I am a self-proclaimed DIY’er, so I can’t truly say if everything was done correctly. However I did ask lots of questions and Sunil took the time to explain the building code and the way it will be done. Visually everything looked great and to code (to my knowledge).

Time:
The contract stated it would take a day to complete and it did take a day to complete. He did have to come back in to do some cement patching but that was ok and everything was communicated and done in a timely matter.

Value:
I got 3 quotes on replacing 2 load bearing walls and Sunil came out the best priced! Value for money he is the best I found.

In conclusion, not only does Sunil has the skills to do a proper job but also keeps you informed with well communications all for a very fair price! I would not hesitate to hire Sunil in the future.

Sunil helped restore order after a poor 70’s renovation. He built a load bearing wall back in its original position. Levelled the floors in the attic, reinforced and sistered joists. Couldn’t be happier with the result.

Woodline handled this very complicated job on an old house very professionally. They are very skilled at solving complicated problems with long joists spans, bearing walls, sistering of joists in addition to the levelling floors and other regular framing work.

They are very pleasant to deal with and very reasonable in prices even when it come to additions and extras ... very pleasant, very professional

In short, Sunil is amazing. You won't go wrong hiring him for your job - if you're looking for a framer who has the skills, knowledge, experience, and tools to do the framing work on your house, Sunil's your guy. He's reasonably priced at that too.

For my own project, I was doing a full gut of a 100+ year old double brick wall in old Toronto. Sunil got involved after the underpinning was done and did all of the structural and interior framing; he was able to take the designs and execute on them well. I had his work inspected by both the City and our own independent engineer, and no issues were found.

Good communication skills; showed up when he said he would; worked with me to help buy the necessary materials; made some great suggestions. I would hire Sunil again in a heartbeat.

Sunil and crew did an amazing job again. It is the second job he is executing for me.
He contributed with very good ideas for the design of the roof such that to better match aesthetically the rest of the house and to be sound from load stress point of view and to use less material and time to be executed.

I found Sunil on homestar. After few conversations and researching, I decided to go with him. He did a good job, did whatever he promised. I would give Sunil 5 stars of Satisfield if some of his crews didn’t give me some small issue ( however, Sunil solved problems). Otherwise, everything was good, he did frame my first whole house project. I am going to get him to do the next one!
