I called Mohammad regarding the removal of a closet in a house we just purchased. It was in between the kitchen and living room separating the 2 rooms and we were hoping to get rid of it to create an open concept. Mohammad was very prompt and showed up precisely when we scheduled a meeting. Within half hour he determined the closet was not load bearing and we went ahead an removed it. Great guy and very knowledgeable. I will definitely have his number saved and keep him in mind for referrals. Thanks again Mohammad!

I hired Sauzteq engineering to get drawings for my Basement Window opening. Mohammad was very responsive to my request and showed up on time. Gathered all the info that needed on the same day and within a week I had my drawings ready for my project. As for the cost I would say he was fair and very competitive. Thanks Mohammad

Prior to contacting Mohamad, my neighbours (same home model) had contracted an alternate Engineer and were advised that the work requested could not be done to the desired extent. Mohamad completed a very thorough inspection and with his expertise made recommendations to accommodate my request (which was the same as my neighbours). My Contractor was equally impressed as was the building inspector.
Renos are almost done! It was a pleasure working with Mohamad and would highly recommend his services.

I emailed Mo on a Sunday and he called right back. That was the first good sign. He came over, was very precious with laying out the floor plan with measurements and gave me a quote I found was more than fair. He had the drawings sent back to me within the week and then I changed the plans several times and he worked with me. I found SauzTeq Engineering Inc. via Home Stars. This review is actually belated in being done. I called for an appt. for a consultation for a project that was only an idea and we were not sure about. Mr. M. Atashi, was very prompt in replying and scheduling an appt. He was punctual and very helpful with insight of our idea and project in the planning. I am in fact in need of more assistance and have called him for another appt. which is already scheduled. Mohammad was very professional, dedicated, efficient and provided a service at lightning speed. He came to our home on short notice on Saturday evening, provided an expert advise on how to safely remove the structural wall in the kitchen.

Mohammad took his measurements of the basement, first and second floor and by using the help of existing Building Plans from our builder and a video we took from the framing before the house was built, he provided finalized stamped drawings.

The service was completed in 2.5 days. Mohammad also went above and beyond by guiding us on how to apply for a building permit. Mohammad is a professional of great integrity, please do not be afraid to pay him a deposit up front as he will deliver the work as promised.

We needed a structural engineer to do drawings to remove external load bearing walls in a 100 year old house, Mohammad came to our house multiple times, was excellent with his communication, did the modelling and drawings perfectly that allowed the city to make a decision quickly. I had a conversation with the city planning officer and he was also very impressed with the work and the drawings. Mohammad also communicated excellently with our contractor to ensure that the work was done step by step in a safe way that ensured the stability of the house during the work and afterwards. It resulted in a beautiful design that allowed to enhance the character of the house and also ensures it stands for another 100 years. Pricing was very reasonable for the amount of work, effort, and knowledge required and we would be happy to recommend him to anyone.

Mohammad was very fast to respond to text / phone / email. His drawings were done ahead of schedule, and exactly what we wanted/needed. We would recommend and use again.
