I hired Nordik Windows to replace all of the windows in my home, approximately 16 of them. I was satisfied with my sales person initially and the windows were installed on time.
Unfortunately two of the windows were the incorrect frame colour, one of which I opted to keep as the location it was in looked fine with the incorrect colour , while the second I requested they change to the correct frame colour, which was agreed to and I am still waiting to have replaced.
The issue I ran into was with a window that I had requested be enlarged. The window was installed, but was not the size that I wanted it to be. Now the sales person and I have a difference of opinion on whose fault the incorrect sizing is, but suffice it to say that there was obviously some miscommunication between myself and the sales person.
I initially contacted him on the 16th of July to discuss the matter with him and was able to reach him over the phone. He advised he would call me back that evening as he needed to review the invoice. He did not call back and despite sending two emails and finally calling the Nordik office he only responded by email on the 29th of July, and called on the 30th of July.
On the 30th of July the sales person advised that he would speak to his supervisor to see if something could be worked out regarding the window and would call me back later that day. Once again he failed to call me back as promised.
It is now the 9th of August, 2024 and I am still awaiting a call back. I sent a text message today requesting an update, but have yet to heard back.
I will say that I am happy with the product, and the installation team, but this repeated failure to even respond to my repeated calls, emails and text messages means that I cannot possibly recommend this company to anyone. If you are replacing your windows do not use this company as they are not willing to even return calls once they have your money.
This is my first experience with a major home renovation and I have been left feeling as though I have been taken advantage of. $25,000 is not a small sum of money to me, and unfortunately I am left with a job that has not been completed to my satisfaction. At this point it is not even about whether or not they will replace the window, it is about the fact that they have failed to give me an answer regarding any possible resolution, and I have had to continuously hound my sales person for him to even call me back which he has repeatedly promised to do, then failed to honour that promise.
