I received a recommendation from a friend for Wamboldt HVAC. We had water puddles in our basement due to the condensation hoses from the furnace and humidifier backing up through the drain hole on the floor. Matt was able to offer a solution over the phone. I took some photos of the area so Jake could arrive prepared. He answered all our questions. They were able to come in within a couple days and fix the problem. They were punctual, informative, and polite. We will use their services again and definitely recommend them!

Should have done this review earlier. I've been their happy client since 2018. They have installed a few ACs and furnaces for us at different homes we manage.

Best project to illustrate how good they are was when we needed to turn over a 2-storey home from electric to forced air heat. We had challenge with bringing sufficient heat to the 2F due to duct work. Another, also very experienced HVAC company we had used before, already told us that's impossible to solve without knocking down walls/ceilings, etc., that meant major reno.

Owen came in, figured out the whole thing, how to bring good heat up to 2F without extensive reno, and at the same time split our duct work into 2 systems, i.e. 2 furnaces/air handlers, which was what we wished for, and his quote still came in lower than the other company who would have installed just newer duct work with 1 furnace for the entire home and not able to bring good heat to 2F without major reno.

They are creative in their solutions and really know their stuff. Best people to work with all in terms of expertise, friendliness and honesty.

We were introduced to Wamboldt Heading through our pool company to repair our pool heater and we have asked them for their assistance with our Geo-thermal furnace/air conditioning unit. Despite breaking down during the high demand season, Matthew was able to schedule a service call and diagnose the issue quickly. He took one look at the capacitor and knew that was the likely problem. He had the part in the truck and was able to replace it within minutes. The rates were very reasonable and the service was friendly and efficient. Good Covid-19 protocols were followed. I am very happy with the service provided by Wamboldt and will not hesitate to call them when my older A/C requires replacing. Thank you!

I’ve been using Owen Wamboldt’s company for 3 years to keep my aging pool heater going each year and they are always reliable, prompt, and charge a reasonable price.

This year I was so pleased with their service I felt I had to write this review. Owen and Matt were very quick to respond to my request for an appointment during a busy time of year and they were able to make it over within 3-4 days. The service team they sent spent about 90 minutes trying to diagnose the inconsistent wiring issue and ordered a part. When Matt returned a few days later with the part but found it did not solve the issue, I was not charged and Matt spent many many calls with the Jandy company tech to talk out the issue. Having traced it to a circuit board I had changed out by them last year, they treated it like a warranty issue with Jandy and when Matt changed some sensors associated with the board (fixing the problem)- they wouldn’t even take any money I offered to them for about the 4+ hours their teams had spent tracking down the issue. These guys are smart, honest and driven professionals, and I’ll be using them for all my pool heater and furnace maintenance for the forseeable future. Very pleased to strongly recommend the Wamboldt Team to anyone else. (Ps: had to put $1 in as cost due to Homestars review requirements but like I said… it was all warranty work.)

The team came in to replace our old central air unit and service our furnace. The two guys were efficient, courteous, and professional. They had to go into our dirt basement. They were careful to keep things clean. We were invited to ask questions. We had a follow visit where the guys adjusted vents and duct work for ultimate efficiency.Again they inquired if we had questions and asked us questions. The price quoted initially was exactly what we paid.

I am consistently impressed by Owen’s service. In addition to being very knowledgeable, they are prompt, honest and, very reasonable in price. One of the few companies I can confidently recommend.

In addition to yearly maintenance, they re-installed our furnace after quickly diagnosing the reason our air conditioner iced up when running. Their solution corrected the problem and made the utility room look much more organized.
