Benny’s Ceiling Stucco Removal Drywall Specialist

Before we moved into our new (100+ year old) home in 2018, we had Benny come in and redo the walls and ceilings of our main floor and bedrooms. Benny knew exactly how to handle the various challenging surfaces, and gave great no-nonsense advice about how to get the results we were looking for. (If you look at the Photos tab on Benny's Homestars page, the first 18 images are from the project. It was a big job!) The transformation was remarkable! We were so happy with the quality of work and his attention to detail that we had Benny return a year later to refinish our kitchen ceiling. We would highly recommend Benny to anyone looking for plaster or drywall work on their old (or new) home.

Got a house that had a roof leak, and a con-caved living room ceiling the day we took possession. Decided to use it as an opportunity to get the popcorn ceilings in the house done before moving in because in our past experience removing popcorned ceilings can get messy

Not with Benny - The house was so well protected, and the equipment they used top notch. It was almost dustless and the house was SPOTLESS when they finished. Incredible!

I spoke to 16 different specialists before picking Benny. He and his team are extremely professional, well priced, and just all around good guys. His pricing is transparent (no extra charges in the end for helping do small things), he is very professional, extremely punctual and most of all takes PRIDE in his work. He and the team are detail oriented and were often fixing small areas that I myself didn't noticed needed a touch up.

We ended up expanding the job mid-way because their detail orientation and quality of work could not be beat - and asked them to paint the whole house as well as finishing the ceilings. Could not be more thrilled with the results. The house is completely transformed!

They were showing their age after other renos (Hydronic Heating System upgrade) and needed to be removed. The entire experience from quote request to completion with Benny was flawless. I am absolutely thrilled with the results of the work done by Benny. If you are looking for a talented craftsman for plastering, drywall or painting, look no further. Benny is master plasterer, bar none! He takes great pride in his work, has a strong work ethic, is detailed oriented and meticulous and was also a pleasure to work with. He kept in touch regularly prior to the start of the project, was on time, on budget and charged a very fair price for the quality of work. Benny transformed a rough, popcorn ceiling with many holes into a beautifully finished flat ceiling. He also transformed some rough walls, also into a fine finish. Despite this being potentially very messy work, there was surprisingly minimal dust. He kept the worksite clean at all times and left the place spotless. He was also very careful in following COVID-19 protocols and wore a mask at all times. Thank you Benny for the great work and making this project stress free! Benny was as advertised in home stars reviews. A very reasonably priced higher quality smooth ceiling finisher. Clearly well experienced and detailed in plastering and finishing our ceilings. He did our whole lower floor and Main halls upstairs including a few catherdral areas that needed scaffolding.

We loved that he really co reed our floors and fuetniture well and took the time to clean up each. Day as we lived In the house during the project and it was manageable. Would recommend staying out the nigh they plaster as the off gases were strong that one night. But he warned us off the dust but we found we were able clean up not hard after such a big project. He also was pretty punctual and communicates his plans very well and when delayed puts in the time it make it right.

Would not hesitate to use him again for a plastering project.
