We got quotes from multiple providers and Michael won us over with his great line-up of products, prompt responses and attention to detail. We have a complicated project and Michael's approach to problem-solving and willingness to work with us to keep the project moving has been much appreciated.

Michael is very knowledgeable and professional. He takes the time to thoroughly explain the different types of products and features his company offers. His pricing is fair and he personally checks the quality of the installation to ensure we are satisfied. I would recommend working with Michael.

We have an older home (pre-WWI) and needed to replace an approximately 3x4 foot pane of glass in our entry way (casualty of winter) and wanted to put on a new back door that allowed more light into our kitchen.

We had a few people come out, but Mike really stood out from the start with his overall knowledge of the various options while working hard to help us choose the option that was best for us. Price wise, the door (steel, 3 panes, sandblasted with clear border, custom high quality paint) was on par with other quotes and the glass pane actually came in a few hundred dollars under some other competitors.

George (installer) was also excellent, came promptly to measure and did great work.

The pane actually had a manufacturing defect that prevented initial install - George was quick to call Mike who called me and he put a rush on a new pane which was available and installed within the week without hassle.

The door was also challenging - more due to accumulated prior DIY work around the doorway that made a straight brick mould install impossible. George did some great custom framing and vinyl work requiring more effort (a few more hours on the install) but still all done within the initially quoted price.

We had initially wanted a retractable screen which was custom ordered...but again the setup made the simple install impossible. George communicated with Mike who outlined the various options - none of which were ideal. We elected to pass and he removed the full cost of the screen from the invoice without being asked.

Overall great experience - will definitely be calling them out when it comes time to do the windows...and we love the door.

I had my patio door replaced. From the moment I called Michael for a quote to dealing with the installer, I was overwhelmed by their knowledge and expertise. Did a great job covering and replacing our windows. They covered wood that was corroding and leaving a cold draft in our bay window. They also took the time to come in and inspect the work that was done to make sure everything was done correctly and to our satisfaction.

Most companies won’t look at you for one window — that’s all I needed — but these guys took the job.

When we bought our house, we had an energy audit done and there was a huge hole in our original wood door for the mail slot. Well, no surprise that the audit suggested we replace the doors. We shopped around and got several quotes for the job, but Michael was the most conscientious and thorough in his knowledge about the installation and products. He was able to get our doors in before the holidays, which was great! I requested recommendations on a single door replacement for a current double entry french door. I was provided some relevant recommendations and options that would work well with my house configuration. Mike was thourough and provided guidance through the entire process for selecting the door type and style, through the appropriate locking system. There was no pressure during the process, and Amica was able to work with my timeline. Overall it was a great experience and I'm very happy with my installation.
