We hired Sarman Air to install a tankless Rinnai water heater and a Moovair heat pump in our home and I cannot tell you enough how happy we are with quality of work and exceptional service provided by owner - John.

John came over for an initial consultation and quickly provided us with a very reasonable quote. He was very flexible and willing to work with our schedule.
John and another technician showed up on time and completed the job within the specified timeframe.
We ran into an issue with the heating the very night that John installed the heat pump. We called John around 10 PM and he came over right away. Being so late at night, we were pleasantly surprised when John said he would come over right away to address the problem. He troubleshooted and quickly put in a temporary fix to heat the home that night. He said he would be back first thing in the morning to address the issue. It turned out to be a problem with our existing thermostat. Even though John had not installed our thermostat he called Ecobee on our behalf and discovered our thermostat was faulty. He quickly put in a brand new Ecobee thermostat for us and worked with Ecobee to get a replacement for the one he replaced.
John was very knowledgeable, honest, professional and reachable throughout the entire process.

On January 15th, 2024 I had the privilege of having John change a 23 year old furnace with a Lennox 70K BTU ML296 Lennox furnace. He took the time in explaining my options before we settled on a specific model. His price was fair given the thorough job he did. What was more impressive is he took the time to do a follow-up visit to make sure everything was working as expected and I was thoroughly satisfied with his work. This is unusual, given most other HVAC technicians have an install-and-forget attitude.

Upon his second visit, he further tweaked the furnace to ensure the second stage kicked-in after 10 minutes with my stage 1 thermostat. The factory setting of the furnace was set up to work with a stage 2 thermostat. Since my house did not have the right wiring (W2/Y2), there were tweaks required on the control board of the furnace. He spent 2 hours upon his second visit to ensure everything was operating as expected and the appropriate tests were done.

All in all, I'm very satisfied with his work and his attention to detail. I would strongly recommend him for changing your furnace.

4 years ago I discovered John at Sarman Air and he fixed the ignitor on my furnace. Last week, my furnace stopped working. I called him, because he is the only one I trusted. This time around, my furnace's control board wasn't working properly. With the age of my furnace (16 years) and discontinued the year after it was installed, OEM parts were not available and a non-OEM replacement was not cheap. John advised it would be more cost effective to get a new furnace instead of putting money into the current one. John kept me updated during the scheduling process and his team was prompt on install day. He noticed another deficiency the previous company didn't notice 16 years ago (lack of fresh air intake) and resolved that as well. 3 hours after the team arrived, heat was running from the new unit. John provides amazing service and answers all questions. He enjoys helping customers to understand their systems better and happily shares his extensive knowledge. I trust him implicitly with all my HVAC and gas needs.

The quote was reasonable. The product was delivered and installed but the circulating pump failed so could not test it. He was able to get a pump the next day and was able to test it. The job done was clean. Would recommend for simple replacement job.
I had also inquired about his control skills in particular Tekmar and he was honest enough to tell me that he would need more time to understand the functionality and logic of the system that was installed. He was confident that the boiler would work if it was only a replacement as long as the main control system was not messed with.

Sarman Air responded quickly to the service call and set up a time to come on the next business day. Service was friendly and efficient. Our gas fireplace was fixed and cleaned in the initial visit, it looks and works like new. Overall a pleasant experience. Thank you!
