Mamuka arrived on time, gave me an appropriate estimate, and repaired the dry wall very well. I was also very happy with his plumbing work. He helped avoid the cost of replacing the entire shower and all the tiles, and saved me money by just repairing one small part.

Mamuka was a pleasant surprise as he breaks the norm on what I expect from a contractor. Typically I expect contractors to not be responsive to email or texts, not arrive on time and take longer than estimated. Mamuka was very prompt (even when there was freezing rain), very responsive to emails and text, and he finished the work on time and well done!

My kitchen cabinets were successfully repaired from water damage from a leak and my wife and I are very happy with the work.

We hired Manikano Construction shortly after purchasing a 100 year old home in Toronto. They performed a lot of work including hanging doors, carpentry work on window trim and baseboards, plastering/drywalling walls/ceilings and installing water fixtures. They even helped frame and drywall a newly divided room.

In addition to doing excellent work, they were a resource during a major renovation. They assisted with developing options to address issues that arose during the renovation, and helped solve problems practically and at a reasonable price point. When other contractors went behind schedule, Manikano worked over the holidays to make up for lost time and complete the project.

I will be recommending this company to friends and would gladly work with them again.

Honey bees got into the ceiling from a crevice in the outside wall. A pest controller killed the bees but the beehives remained inside between two joists. We contacted Manikano Construction to tear open the ceiling, remove the hives and repair the ceiling. Because it was a textured ceiling, other contractors could not match the texture and colour. Mamuka came to survey the job and made appropriate suggestions. Eventually, we had him removed the hives, striped out the ceiling texture and have the whole room painted. The job was well done and his price was competitive.

Our bathroom door frame was out of alignment. Excellent work, friendly and knowledgeable. No issues or concerns.

For several months, we tried to find a contractor willing to install MgO boards (fire resistant, waterproof, mildew & mold resistant) in two areas of our basement. No contractor - young or older - was willing to work with a 'new material'. Mamuka was the one exception. He also turned out to be an exceptional contractor - efficient, careful, straightforward, always on time and always cheerful. And one added note - for women looking for a contractor, there are absolutely no attitude issues with him.

Mamuka did a great job installing our range hood and venting it outside.
Will certainly have no hesitation in using him for any other work around the house and recommending him to others.

Amongst other work, Mamuka from Manikano Construction repaired some drywall ceilings and walls that had been damaged by water. It was a difficult job, and Mamuka handled it expertly and professionally. Our place was left spotless after the repairs. Five stars.

Excellent workmanship, very professional. You can not see where the damage had been. Drywall, insulation etc had to be removed and the area dried and disinfected before the repair could be completed.
We are very pleased with the work done. Plus, Mamuka is a very pleasant fellow to have around.
