Maids In Pink

DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY FOR MOVE OUT CLEANINGS. See Update below. I should have listened to the many, many 1 star reviews that say the same but I didn't, and I wound up having to reclean my entire home on my own after Maids In Pink finished 'deep cleaning' my house. The photo shows how much dirt and hair I picked up when vacuuming my house AFTER they had left.

Scenario: The home was not very dirty to begin with, and we had cleaned all mirrors and windows before the cleaners arrived. We also sprayed the oven with oven cleaner before they arrived, so all they had to do was wipe it out. The home was fully empty at the time as well. We were billed $555 for a move out clean, and they did such a poor job that I had to spend an extra 5 hours myself redoing the majority of the work we paid them to do!

THE BAD: They did not pick up anything with the vacuum, it looks like they ran a vacuum with a full bag over the entire house, skipped all of the edges and skipped the stairs. They mopped the middle area of the kitchen and laundry room but left all edges full of dirt and dust. They did not use soap when mopping, just a really dirty mop that smells like bacteria. You know when a wet cloth that is dirty dries out and starts to smell horrible? Yeah, my whole house smells like that now thanks to their mopping job. Also they only cleaned 1 of 2 toilets.

THE GOOD: They did wipe out the oven, which came clean thanks to the spray we put on it before they arrived. The fridge was wiped clean and the sinks were clean. They did do an okay job of wiping out the cupboards, the doors and edges were still dusty, but they weren't very dirty to begin with.

The company offer us $50 off after providing them multiple videos of the issues. Less than 10% of the bill refunded, when I had to go back and redo more than half of the work we paid them for? They were pretty rude about it too, as if we were just a nuisance to them for being upset about not getting what we paid for.

VERDICT: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. There are plenty of options in the city for home cleaning services, save yourself the headache and a ton of money and book through someone else. Unless of course you want to pay someone to clean for you, while also doing all of the cleaning yourself.

UPDATE: The company reached out to us, and ultimately they decided to offer us $100 off of the cost of the service. They did also offer to send someone back to redo the problem areas, however due to this being a move out service, we did not have the time to go that route.
