I needed my garage floor replaced due to a large fracture that had developed over time. Shawn provided an accurate assessment of what needed to be done, provided a reasonable quote, and delivered the project on time and on budget. We had a difficult waterproofing job to accomplish re: our shared narrow alley way between us and our neighbours buildings. 100 feet by 4 feet! Shawn guided us through the many decisions as to how to approach the work that would solve an ongoing leaky basement which was affecting not only the basement walls but also the partially below grade 1st floor apartments. Shawn's crews accomplished the job by hand digging down 7-8 ft, repairing voids where necessary, applied a 3 part membrane and hydraulic parge, followed by drain board, weeping tile and 2 new sump pumps, infill, and then a new sidewalk with appropriate pitch to move the water away from both buildings was poured. The neighbours engaged Shawn's company to deal with a drain issue as well. So much was accomplished in a timely fashion. The team leaders were easy to communicate with and Shawn was available to conference with every step of the way! Many check ins and site visits. Thanks so much Shawn and crews from Fida Restoration! The best news? We have a dry basement for the first time in many years and we're secure in knowing that the water is being moved away from our building. We'll be engaging Fida Restoration in the future for more updates to our building.

We have had severe water issues because of the neighbourhood grading, often with a foot deep of water in the garage every rainfall. Shawn came and gave a competitive quote to remove the interlocking brick driveway, pour a concrete pad and deal with the flooding in the garage by adding a sump pump and trench across the front as well as pouring a very large concrete driveway with correct grading.
He was communicative prior, during and since the completion of the project.
As always, there were extra issues. This is why one needs a contingency amount for any reno!!! We had to dig deeper and replace clay-based soil with good gravel, pipe laid around the perimeter of the garage, etc.
Wilver and his crew were amazing, every day. They cleaned up at the end of each work day. My neighbours were very happy to see it, as it impacts everyone when such a big project is being done. It makes a huge difference when you are making noise and mess to see the workmen being courteous to the neighbours as well!

Concrete garage floor needed replacement as it was cracked and water was seeping and freezing in the winter causing the cracks to further expand. I requested multiple quotes from vendors but Fida Restoration was the only one that took the time to pay me a site visit and assess in detail the work required. Other vendors would just ask for photos and provide me a quote. Fida Restoration was very responsive to my inquiries (given that I am not knowledgeable in this area) and spent time to explain what needed to be done and why. The attention to detail and the customer service was led me to pick Fida Restoration for the work. Once booked, Fida Restoration was on time and on budget with the delivery of the work.

Contacted Shaun of Fida Restoration through HomeStars. He was very professional and a pleasure to work with. He scoped out the work to be done, explained it all to me and then provided a quote. I agreed to his terms. Shaun and his crew showed up as scheduled. They did a great job (5 guys worked a straight 11 hours) as they wanted to get the job done the same day as there was rain in the forecast for the next day. They were very thorough and cleaned up very well too. No hesitation in recommending him or using his services again.

We are thrilled with the beautiful work Shawn and his team did on my mom's garage floor. It was not an easy job as the slab is suspended over a cold cellar and from day one Shawn inspired confidence that this very tricky work would be done properly and exceed our expectations. They delivered on time and always kept us informed about options and progress. If you hire this company, you have hired the best and this comes from a family of former cement contractors.

Shawn and the team completed the work on time and on more importantly on budget. If there were anticipated delays (we got a bunch of rain so you obviously can’t lay ashphalt) they would stay I touch as to the anticipated timing. They were clean, courteous and I would definitely recommend them.

The flooring was down to the cement pad and Fida Restoration suggested the Grani-flex product as a good alternative. From the moment we hired Shawn and his crew, we were impressed with their professionalism and reliability. They showed up on time, worked efficiently and with a minimum of mess to install the product. Throughout they were pleasant and took care to limit the disruption to the space being treated. Clean-up was equally thorough and efficient. Shawn's customer service sensibility is particularly notable. As it turns out, the result wasn't what I had envisioned - for reasons of aesthetics and not workmanship, and I have to say that we very much appreciate Shawn's follow-up and effort to remedy and it's for these reasons that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fida Restoration to anyone. In the end the Grani-flex solution wasn't the right one for us but there is no question that it is a good, quality product.
