We hired Alan & his team to take over our project to finish our home gym after the first contractor we hired turned out to be unskilled & unscrupulous.

Capolavoro Renovation was very reassuring as we were guarded after the bad experience we just had. Alan quickly gained our confidence by going into detail on what was involved such as how to repair the damage/mistakes, an estimate of how much it will cost & when it would be completed. Their expertise became apparent through their professionalism. They started on time, quickly got to work & each day we saw the previous mess vanish & the transformation of the finished room appear. The attention to detail & craftmanship was apparent & they respected my home by being careful not to damage existing finished areas & also cleaned up after themselves. I would hire them again for potential future projects & feel confident to recommend them to friends, family & neighbours too!

We are very happy with our basement. The finished product is beautiful, bright, warm and feels like an extension of the rest of our home. Al had a great team to help him. We had special issues in our renovation, moving duct work and cutting a new window in the foundation. We especially like the bathroom tile work, and the shelving for storage.
Al showed up on time every day and communicated effectively. He gave us options for changes to the plan, and a few upgrades. He even let our kids help him put up some dry wall for some great family memories. Thanks for everything!

I hired Alan and his team to up date the basement, new flooring, expanding the family room. As with all renos we ran into hidden surprises, leaking shower, mold and carpenter ants. Alan was amazing he walked me thru all the problems and alternatives.
At no time was I left in the dark, at the end of everyday I had an update. I now have a beautiful warm family room with a stone feature wall and fireplace. New 3 piece bathroom. Pot lights through out the basement and lovely laminate flooring.
Alan and his team were extremely knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I would highly recommend them and look forward to doing business with them again.
