Thank You Speedy Appliance for coming out on such short notice. Within an hour of calling you, a repairman showed up and was ready to deal with my three separate issues. Alex P. was fantastic. He was punctual, friendly, honest, courteous and very understanding of our situation. He ended up providing us with excellent tips to ensure we could get as much out of our appliances as possible.
Our upright freezer was not working, the ice maker on our side by side refrigerator/freezer was not making ice, and our gas range oven front door had locked while performing a self clean. Alex P. quickly diagnosed our problems and explained clearly what needed to be done. In the case of the upright freezer, the defrost sensor and fan assembly were faulty and needed replacing. For the ice-maker, the entire assembly needed to be replaced. Since the ice machine assembly was so easy to replace on my model I decided to install it myself to save the additional labour expense. The gas stove’s high limit sensor/switch had blown so that is why the oven door would not open. So I needed the high limit sensor to replaced as well. Unfortunately Alex did not have the replacement parts with him, but he came back the following day and replaced everything.
I had never used Speedy Appliance before, but I was really happy with their service. They have a no bullshit pricing policy meaning you pay only for the cost of the part and a labour charge. There were no additional fees or hidden charges and no pressure to complete the job after a quote was given. On the first day, a deposit of half the total of the entire bill was required to ensure that the customer would commit to the job. The remainder of the payment was due upon completion of the work.
I would definitely call Speedy Appliance again, as I was very happy with the quality of work and I would call them without hesitation if another fix was needed. 10/10.
