J and J Moving Company

J&J were a welcome change from the other movers I spoke to - no fuss, no minimums, very responsive and extremely helpful.

They are local and we love supporting local small businesses. We will definitely be using J&J again.

I originally called JandJ and left a message. Within a minute, John called me back and explained the whole process including costs. He booked me on the exact date that I needed to move. On the day of the move, Mike, Shawn and Ronti came to my house early and came up with a game plan. They were absolutely terrific and wrapped and blanketed all the furniture. They also took apart some of the furniture as well. The whole process took almost 12 hours from start to finish (we had a lot of stuff) and it seems like the crew didn't take a break that whole time! At my new house, they placed all the furniture in the exact rooms that we wanted. All in all it was an amazing experience on a very stressful day. The price also came in about half of what other moving companies were quoting, so that was an extra perk as well. I would definitely use JandJ again and would highly recommend them to anyone would needs to move.

John is really nice to deal with, he listened to our expectations and provided the service he promised.
During a recent renovation, Scotty and his crew moved us out and Sean and his crew moved us back in.
Both teams were super pleasant, arrived on time, worked really hard and handled our things carefully.

I recently moved cities (from 4bed to another 4bed house) and J&J helped me with my same day move.
The three men did an excellent job moving all my belongings and dis-assembling and assembling my beds & other furniture perfectly.
All important stuff was bubble wrapped and moved very carefully without any damage to the house.

Shoutout to Scotty for the proper organization of the move; Sean for assembling the furniture perfectly and Ronti for all his hard work. It was a great team.

From start to finish, the movers from J and J Moving were professional, polite, and efficient. Booking was easy and accommodating, and the movers themselves were both kind and hardworking. No complaints at all on our end, and the total cost was lower than the estimate received.

All in all, a very positive experience while working within a pretty tight deadline on both ends. They also stored our things free of charge overnight due to a discrepancy in our closing dates. Great work all-round and completely hassle-free; highly recommend this company, as they actually pick up their phone and were very polite to both myself and my wife. Great work.

This is the second time I have hired J and J moving. John and his team are honestly great. Funny enough one of the same guys from 2019 was on this job again and he remembered me. J and J do an excellent job moving and its all by the hour. You dont have to worry about those movers who take your stuff and weigh it and then charge you more.

I had originally booked two movers but they brought three which was fine. There was no pressure to use the third guy but once we had a look at my place I decided to use the third guy and it was a great decision. It made the trips down from the condo way faster as someone could load from the apartment, the other took it down and then the third to the truck. They came prepared with all the wrapping materials had I needed any.

They were punctual, kind and polite. If I happen to move again this is the only company I will call.
