J and J Moving Company

First of all, John was so helpful on the phone and talked me through things. I have moved a lot over the years, and across provinces, so I have had some damaging experiences, and was feeling quite anxious about another long distance move...Toronto to North Bay.

I cannot express enough how well taken care of I was!!

Scott and Sonny showed up and were not only incredibly hard working, but they maintained a pleasant energy right till the very end of an extremely long day. These guys ARE THE BEST!!
I had also, quite unfortunately, grossly underestimated the amount of things I had and the amount of space I would need, so during the load in, John sent over another person to help.
I had rented a storage in North Bay, based on images from a website. It turned out to be disastrous. The unit I rented turned out to be in a completely different building, and was quite narrow and ridiculously high. I've never seen anything like it.

To add to matters, my car broke down an hour and a half from the storage unit, and I had to have a friend come pick me up, so I wasn't even there to help, to trouble shoot or make alternate arrangements for storage. Two of these strange units later, and everything still did not fit.

Eventually I arrived, and the guys followed me to the friend's place I am staying at temporarily, and fortunately they were able to store the remaining items.
And as I now move everything to another storage unit, I continue to be impressed with Scott and Sonny.
The care they took with my belongings is so evident. It could have easily been a nightmare of broken goods, but I am so blessed that is not the case.

I would highly recommend J and J for all your moving needs.

We were recommended J and J by some friends and used them on a move from Toronto recently. Great service and very punctual. They arrived on time, we were efficient in packing everything. We had labeled each box with where it was to go in our new place so unloading took just an hour. Will definitely recommend J and J in the future.

I hired J&J for a long-distance move from Toronto to Sudbury. My storage facility closed at 4pm so time was of the essence. Despite some hiccups in the morning (road closure due to a construction project), Scott and Sonny were cool and calm, friendly and professional, when we had to adapt, and have them park the truck a street over. Despite the long treck to the truck, they got everything packed and ready to go in under two hours. We made it to the storage facility just under the buzzer. Would highly recommend these hard-working guys any day.

Fast, efficient, reasonably priced, polite, hard working, helpful, courteous - there are not enough good words to describe how satisfied I am with the quality of service I received from J & J Movers - John responded to my initial call before any other company - one the best known guys has still never gotten back to me - he was helpful and prompt and so was his team, I will be using them again shortly to relocate - the first trip was for tidy up the next one is to move - if you want good service a fair price call John 647 293 1400

It was great to work with John and his team. The execution was flawless and the price was very reasonable. They did everything they can to make it right. All fragile and larger items (i.e. dressers) were wrapped in either bubble wrap or cellophane.

The members of the moving team were very professional, hard working, respectful and took great care of my belongings. The team worked very well together and everyone knew their role in order to have everything loaded and unloaded as efficiently as possible. They stayed until the job was complete and I was satisfied. All items were placed where I wanted them. I enjoyed working with John and his team so much so that we hired them for a second job. I got 2 moves done with the company and both went amazing. First move was for my family and we hired 2 movers, and the next move was scheduled for next day for me with 4 movers.

The movers were really hardworking, fast, right on time, reliable and friendly. They wrapped up everything nicely, disassembled beds and then assembled them as well. They knew what they were doing, we didnt break anything or scratched so it went really smoothly. I highly recommend them. The customer service was impeccable and John was really helpful in entire process.

J&J are very trustworthy with your property. One phone conversation john and my mind was at ease. They removed most House contents, arranged (shopped Around for a good rate). They found a great new storage facility and were happy to be able to reassure me that our belongings are in a clean secure facility. A few months later, i contacted John. We pick a convenient date for me - His team went to the storage reloaded the truck packed tighter. Arrived at my house as promised. Took everything they possibly could. They worked hard, fast and pleasant. Our new home was 2-3 hours away. I would highly recommend this company for
a home move. There are so Many things to think about when this is happening.
John was always available and kept us
informed along the way. This was a good choice for us and we are so glad we chose J & J.

We decided to go with J & J for their better rates and from the first phone call the service was great; very friendly, customer-oriented, and easy to reach. We hired them for two parts to one move to our new house and everything went smoothly. All the movers were friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend them. :)
