Another successful move thanks to John and his crew!
I dealt with this company a few months earlier (based on great HomeStars reviews) and had a great experience. So I had to use them again.

Contacted John at J&J requesting a move of an old piano and other items from years of hoarding of junk and stuff in the basement. Called the same day and they came to the rescue. The J&J team was professional and very nice.

I had high expectations after reading so many great reviews.
It was a long distance move from Toronto to Vancouver and I was nervous about moving my belongings across the country for the first time. John gave me a great price and was very responsive in his communication with me and took the time to answer all of my questions and worries. The day of my move-out went well, the team was friendly and professional and ensured my belongings were safe and protected.

The movers moved my belongings successfully into my condo and my belongings all arrived in Vancouver undamaged.

Never using movers before, I was worried with all the horror stories you hear. The movers were so kind, efficient, didn't damage anything! And the price was extremely reasonable. Thank you!

J&J Moving provided their services to move my belongings from a one bedroom plus den condo downtown Toronto to Waterloo.
The condo building is 80 stories and everything had to be moved from the condo down a long hallway to an elevator, down another long hallway to a freight elevator and then down an even longer hallway to the loading docks. The condo corporation allowed us 2 hours to make this move. As fast as Scotty and his team worked, this was not possible.
Once our moving time slot was over, they negotiated graciously with others using the elevators in order to get fit us in and get the move done.
Once on the road to Waterloo the remainder of the move was perfect. No damage and the rates were as quoted.
This is not the first time we have used J&J Moving and I am happy we used them again. I wouldn’t hesitate using their services again or recommending their services.

I saw that J and J was one of the top rated movers on home stars so I requested and quote from a few companies on the home stars website and he was one of the first to respond to me. Some companies didn't even get back to my request for weeks. He was nice enough to come over to my house for an in-home assessment during covid and took the necessary precautions to keep us safe. Having someone willing to come over was great since I was sick of filling out online forms listing all of the contents of each room of my house. He was friendly and professional and provided me with a flat rate quote a few hours after he left my house. I decided to go with them after getting a few other estimates because he was by far the cheaper option and gave me a flat rate so I wouldn't have to worry about paying by the hour. He was available by phone and email through the whole process. His movers were professional and really hard working. We had some hitches with our house closing which were out of the movers hands but John helped to make those issues as smooth as possible. In the end we got loaded up and unloaded as quickly as possible. The movers wrapped and moved more damagable items with care and even came back for a 3rd time to my old house to just carry the more breakable things (we were just moving down the street.) The guys stayed late until the job was all done and everything made it safe and sound. John was a man of his word with the original price and also answered my email after the move when I thought I lost something and thought it might have been left behind (which I later found in the house of course!) Great experience overall and would definitely recommend/use again.

I've moved with J&J twice now, and both times they've been super prompt, friendly and efficient. My belongings were packed and moved carefully, including when no elevators were available and heroic efforts were made to budge some very heavy items. Life-saving service for a small-stature woman moving house on her own. Can highly recommend!

John was great to work with quoting and servicing our needs. We moved from Toronto (3bdrm home) to Ottawa and his crew did a great job moving and unpacking on both ends. His team was fast, efficient and really courteous. It was a great experience, and I would highly recommend J and J. They offered boxes, equipment and timely efficient labour. Five stars all around.

I was extremely pleased to use J&J Moving Services. When things fell through with other moves that I initially booked, John was great to work with to plan and schedule our move. He had no problem accommodating all of our moving needs, including bubble wrapping and providing extra casing for any of our fragile belongings, such as TVs.
Additionally, he was willing to manage the planning and facilitation of the storage for our belongings, something most other movers either weren't willing to do, or added a very significant cost for doing it. John was willing to do everything for a very reasonable price. He was always very polite and stuck to his word, which I really appreciated it.

On our move out day, Scottie and Q were great. They were happy to arrive before the originally agreed upon start time to set up. They always were extremely respectful and polite. They were accommodating with all of our requests and were quick moving everything. They spent less than 2 hours to move all of our things, including our furniture, TVs and bed.

I'd definitely recommend J&J moving services. From the planning to the move, everyone was always respectful and polite, willing to do great work at a reasonable price.
