I called Moe's after seeing their truck and following up with reviews after having had less than satisfactory service recently from a large local provider.

I had a weird problem with one of our toilets that would drain in strange ways (flush properly but then the bowl would empty later). I tried a bunch of tricks on the internet and couldn't address it myself. I also had a kitchen faucet that I wanted to replace, but the state of the counter and the age of the plumbing made me prefer to have a pro address it. That was not a mistake :-)

Soroosh came out the first time and assessed the two issues: we decided that the condition of the kitchen cabinet needed special attention so we'd schedule a time later in the week to deal with both at once. The next time Moe and Soroosh came to the house together: Moe spent the time working on the faucet while Soroosh assisted on that task, while addressing the draining issue for the toilet between helping out.

I knew that the counter was going to be a problem if I addressed the tap myself, and I'm convinced that if I had contacted my previous plumbers, I'd be right now waiting for a new counter top instead of using my new faucets. Moe has a wide variety of skills and is very resourceful: he used some components that he kept from a previous job and carved out supports to replace the rotted sections of counter top. All above and beyond for the usual plumbing providers, from my perspective, but Moe seemed to take it on as a mission to make it work. Frankly he took a bad situation and created a quality solution that makes me feel good about that space again. He explained everything and the cost was what was quoted even though I think it was substantially more work than either of us thought at first.

Soroosh also explained everything clearly and gave me options to address both problems right up front. I had to make a few choices based on personal circumstances and Soroosh gave me options to address the issue within my context.

I have to say that the quality of work is top notch, no question. What was better is that these two are genuinely caring and thoughtful individuals who pride themselves on their work. That makes this team stand out.

I was glad to hear that while they did our work in Coquitlam, they also work in Vancouver where I have family who needs some help, and I'll be strongly recommending them to ask Moe and Soroosh for their work.

Awesome service. Quick response to my call. Soroosh was polite and professional. I would highly recommend him to get the job done. He’s the first person I call for any plumbing emergencies that come up again.

Lots of red flags. Exaggerated the scope of the job, exaggerated the price. Was full of attitude. Didn't come prepared to do the job(about 2 hour's of work) even though it was a straightforward wax seal replacement and all information was provided in advance and said he did'nt even have the capacity to take on the job for another week. (Improper disclosure). Why would we co-ordinate someone on site for a leaking toilet if they can't even do the job for a week?
Two kinds of people. One's who sincerely cost out the job and the other who sizes you up for how much they think they can maximize you for. Saroosh is the latter. Frankly a waste of everyone's time.

Did a total repair of my showers - draining and replace the shower heads - swiftly, professionally and perfectly.
