Metropolitan Movers

Nice guys but extremely slow. My quote was 6 to 8 hours it took them 12. Broken expensive lamp, lost dining room table screws, too many smoke breaks. Cost $1860. Who can afford that! Sorry can't recommend then only warn others.

An absolute nightmare and damaged furniture. Workers were late, hid in the truck for hours, then refused to unload the final pieces until I paid $1000. The quote I had was $500. Used a "sister" company. I haven't ever seen a Metropolitan Movers truck in the GTA. They always seem to use "sister" companies. Not sure how they got these reviews. Possibly family and friends. I trusted what I saw here and was burned.

I found them through online search and after reading some wonderful google reviews took decision to work with them. We had a wonderful moving experience with Metropolitan Movers. I worried about our moving but these guys arrived on time. I appreciate their professionalism and honesty. No hidden charge!!

My sister recently had a move from Pape Village to Eglinton East. I was there as an extra set of hands to help her pack. The movers came on time and were very courteous. I've used movers before that were unprofessional and careless with my things, but her movers were very considerate with her valuables. If I even move from my current place, I will definitely use Metropolitan Movers.

I had to move with my family from Clarington to Brampton within 2 days due to the deadline given by the house owner. We decided to get help from Metropolitan Movers and they were really impressive at the given task. They even helped us with storage facilities for one day as we had to find a place to store the excess furniture until we arrange the place to move them. They were really professional and careful and even offered a moving insurance until the job is done. They provide an excellent service for a very much affordable price. Highly recommended!

My brother finally got a job and and to move from Alberta to Toronto. I flew from the US to help him pack and get situated. Metropolitan Movers was great. They showed up on time, had enough blankets and straps and were careful with the delicate items (like family china, clocks etc.). My brother is a pack rat, yet they managed to fit all his stuff into the truck. We flew to Toronto, stayed in a hotel for a day or two and the movers arrived at about the estimated time. No damage!! YAY!

Hello ,my friend who also used metropolitan serviced recommended this moving company to me and last week I made the move with them , I was very happy, they are very professional and polite, they did all, they mounted and dismounted my stuff and put all my things in boxes ( no scratches to my furniture ). I was looking for several other companies, but some were too expensive and some were too cheap ( I admit, to cheap didn't gave me much confidence ) but this company was perfect, and I can say that It was a success the best price/quality ratio you can buy. This company is exceptional. They did a moving job for my mother and they did a great job. They made my mom feel very relaxed about the whole moving process, and between you and me that is not easy ha ha. They provide full moving insurance which set my mind and my mom's at ease. They can move big things like pianos that most moving companies either would not do or can not do. They insured my mom that they would help her with assembling some of her furniture if it was needed. This company is definitely one of the best there is out there. Full stars 10\10.

My moving worries ended when I found out about Metropolitan Movers. The staff was amazing and tended to my every need without fail. They were respectful, and made my moving nightmare into a wonderful dream. I definitely recommend this moving company over any other!
