I've read both absolutely amazing and horrible reviews on this site, but I'm here to share my experience and to even things out. These movers did an absolutely amazing job! Everything was moved in a jiffy and nothing was damaged or broken (my worst fear). Not only was the move completely smooth, the folks at Metropolitan Movers are super courteous. I feel that even though excellent service should be enough, a smile always put the service a step further. They are really first class movers, and I give them my highest recommendation!

Sometimes reading those negative reviews will give you a bad impression, but the number of 10 star positive experiences definitely outnumber those bad ones! I'd definitely recommend the folks at Metropolitan Movers to anyone who ever needs a move. The price was also exceedingly fair and well worth the value.

Me and my wife moved house a few weeks back, We had to rent some movers because all my friends were tied up and we just didn't have the man power to do it ourselves. We found Metropolitan Movers through an ad on facebook of all places and so we checked them out. Much to our surprise they offered cheap services and had excellent reviews from previous customers.
When it came to the work at hand they got down to business and were completely professional about it. They had a joke or 2 with us but in all seriousness we were very impressed with the work they did.
I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone who want to find someone to help you move.

I was moving for college and i wanted my own furniture from my room moved to my dorm so i can feel at "home", at least sp i won't be homesick. so i decided to rent movers so all stuff can be moved all at once. service was fast and professional. they are friendly and carried my stuff with care at all times and sometimes i help too. but everything went well. i recommend this service since and i will be getting them again when i move back as my experience was great with no problem with them.

I hired Metropolitan Movers when I moved earlier this year from Mississauga to Toronto. The service was exception, they arrived at 8am sharp as promised and worked quickly. I was very appreciative of how friendly they were as well as how careful they were with my belongings. I had an excellent experience with this company and will use them again in the future.

Worst moving company ever, I will never recommend then. Moved out of a 1600 SQ home and they showed up with one small truck when I called them back and said I needed 2 trucks. The guy in charged told me no one is more then enough. I should have hired the other moving company where the had a 53' truck and paid the extra 300.00 dollars. Anyway when the 2 guys came they panic they tried to call the company asking for another truck, they also called others guys to come and help. This was a nightmare it started at noon until 2:30 am not only that we also had to help including my kids. They damaged furnitures and they have not replied anymore to my emails or calls. I have called some companies to see if they can fix it but the way it is broken they don't want to touch it. I told the moving company and they never even offered a credit so I can go and but something else. One dresser is discontinued now and cost 700.00 the other one was 200.00
So pay extra and hire professional.

Metropolitan Movers did an excellent job when I was relocating across the city. The staff and movers were both very polite and helpful when it came to the questions I had regarding the shipping costs and the time the move would take, making the whole process a lot easier and easing my stress and worries about. Everything was delivered in perfect condition which was due to the exceptional job that the team did in order to prevent my items and goods from being even slightly damaged. Should I ever need to move again within the area this team would be my go-to choice.

WORST EVER!!!!!! Sent us an old man and a man that couldn't speak english - we ended up doing all the heavy lifting. They insisted on packing the truck as they "have done this for over 40 years". Broke our Smart TV. Were told to make a claim and they would get back to us in 14 days. Two months later no one will return my calls or emails. I have been on hold for over an hour and a half. Worst customer service. Worst job. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!! You've been warned!!!
