Metropolitan Movers

We moved from a detached home into a 3rd floor (walk up) apartment last week, when it was 34degC. Two movers (both called Alex!) showed up early, were friendly, polite and efficient and worked like Trojans for the entire day. They did not complain, though manhandling our furniture up the narrow stairs was difficult and very hard work. I felt the cost of the move was very reasonable. I am very grateful to them both for being so nice, and for being so clever about getting pieces around tight corners.

I arranged to have Metropolitan Movers move furniture and boxes from one home to the next. In doing so, they scratched 3 pieces of my sons furniture badly (needing repair). They were going to arrange to have someone come and repair but failed to show up. Now dealing with their insurance company due to poor customer service. Overcharged on time too as there movers took a lunch break which I was apparently paying for.
Do not recommend and hope no one deals with again.

I live in Mississauga and hired Metropolitan movers for my move. They sent 2 men for my move. One of them was very rude and he broke my furnitures while disassembly and when then he requested to buy L bracket support to assemble the furnitures. He completed assembly using L bracket. He was hurrying to finish the job as they had next appointment. Another team member was respectful and moved my furnitures carefully. Simple furnitures like coffee table leg was broken. I am disappointed and will surely let my friends and family know to NOT use Metropolitan movers.

Mike was great. He came on time, assessed all our items to be moved and carefully handled each item. Moving from one place to another was quick and easy with Metropolitan movers.
