LeafFilter Gutter Protection

Pushy sale pvc (plastic body) not for Canadian winters super expensive service poor so disappointed installers they are not employed by this company they do subcontractors. Again disappoint. We have to support Canadian products not another garbage American products....

We saw this service at the Boat Show and were very impressed, so we made an appointment.
The sales representative was very informative and explained all the work that would be done including the gutter repairs and installation of the filters. We were worried we would need to replace the gutters, but after their inspection, found that they only needed maintenance which they did for us.
We have a lot of maple trees around our property and leaves and seeds were always a problem. With all this rain, we have had no leaks from the repaired gutters and no blockages from leaves.
This is a very good product and the service is fast and efficient.

Product was installed two weeks ago. Noticed a small leak at a corner, and had service within 3 days. Very pleased so far. Both the original installer, Chad, and the chap who fixed the leak, Kevin, were professional and friendly. They cleaned up all debris, and reported their progress to us. They were very careful on all our flower beds around the house, and made sure not to damage anything! We are impressed.

Work was done in a timely manner. Problems were that it wasn't totally done properly the first time. Several follow-up visits to get it right. Workers Adam/Kevin Cormier excellent customer service returned without a complaint and did what was needed. Now we are hoping all will be well. Fingers crossed!

A little more than I wanted to spend, but happy with the result. We have had a rain and so far so good. I have yet to see the result of the buds off the tree on the screen yet, but am very optimistic.

This professional crew installed our LeafFilter system in the rain, without complaint, no mess, no fuss. It looks superb. We did notice a slight leak and were impressed when a week later Kevin, a service tech came by to see how we were enjoying our new system. Kevin took the time to check out the entire system and preformed a minor repair at the leak site. We were extremely impressed with the professional attitude before, during and after installation.

Leaf Filter may be a good product. Purchase is a pushy sale though. Gutter was to be caulked to but I figure that didn't go so good as one of the areas to be fixed still leaks. I have more of a beef with Homestars about this matter though. At the suggestion of our Leaf Filter salesman I went to this site during the purchase. I found 2 quotes each in the $1,000 neighbourhood. My cost at that time was $3K and as I didn't have a big house, I requested some clarity as to this matter from Homestars. Hearing nothing back from Homestars at that time and now getting this request is a rather sad thought. Might make some wonder for whom this site is suppose to help.

we debated for a few years which company to go with and this year we decided to go with leaf filter it gave us the best product for our money and we never have to worry about our eves again

The sale people came out for a free quote and the next day I had the installation performed (March 8, 2017). Before this install, I could see trees growing from my gutters. With this system, I feel like I won't have to worry about my gutters clogging up again. The installers clean up the job site and there was nothing for me to take care of when they left.

The crew did a good job of installing the system on all eavestroughs on our house. However, they left quite a mess around the house from cleaning out the debris from eavestroughs, which we were obviously not happy about. When our displeasure was voiced to a manager, he apologized to us and came out to our house the next day and cleaned up the mess.
Our initial impression of this company was not good but after the clean-up was completed, I could tell that this was an isolated incident and very likely would not happen to the next customer. The fact that the manager came himself to correct our situation was very important to us and we can now say with confidence that this is a respectable company that values it's customers and appreciates their business.
