Home alarm system - they misrepresent their product
When we signed up for think protection the sales representative told us that the alarm equipment (which they make you purchase and pay for in full) maintains local functionality (door beeps and sound alarm) even if you decide to discontinue the monthly monitoring cost (where they contact emergency services in the event of the alarm trigger or allow use of the phone app). This turned out to be an completely untrue. The system maintains NO FUNCTIONALITY unless you pay for monthly monitoring forever. Without the ongoing payment the equipment is useless. When I told a manager that the product was misrepresented after we signed up I was told sorry about that nothing we can do. Horrible customer service and misleading information to make the sale. The monthly rate is reasonable but watch out for these guys. For me I will never deal with this company again.
