Andrew and Sergio did an amazing job. Top quality material was used and they took the time to make sure everything was done perfectly. They explained everything that they were doing and made sure that no corners were cut. I'm very satisfied and will use them again in the future. They came on time and worked really hard and answered every question I had. They also cleaned up everything after they were done and left my place spotless.

We engaged Homestar to repair our roof and the work was done very professionally and he explained all the details.

After the work was done 3 of my neighbors asked for his number to do some roof work as well. And he helped all my neighbors as well.

I contacted Andrew and Sergio (Father & Son) because two of my neighbors used them and I could see the good work.
They were fast and reasonable in pricing my flat roof replacement, and they started soon after.
Their work was fast and efficient and they were very good about asking how I wanted things done.
Can't say enough about what a positive experience this was. The roof looks amazing. They're great!

We live in a three-storey townhouse with a back roof that is low sloped. We share the roof with one of our neighbours and we were having some leaks. Other roofing companies came to look at it and admitted that regular shingles would not last more than 15 years as the roof has such a low slope. Serg looked at it and recommended flat roofing. Yes, it would cost more, but it would last longer and be easier to remove in the future than regular shingles with ice and water membrane underneath. Serg, his dad and the crew are friendly people who start early and work late to get the job done. We were so impressed, we had them do our flat roof under our balcony and put new aluminum siding on the balcony. I would recommend Home Star Roofing Ltd very highly and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

This review is long overdue. Serg and his father were the third of three estimates we got for the roof on our north Toronto detached home. We picked them because their price was competitive, they seemed honest and they could do the job right away. We couldn't have been more pleased with the new roof they put on our house. Fast forward to now, two years later, we need to replace the flat roof on our rental property. Of course, we called Serge and his dad. They showed up a day later to give us a fair estimate and also tips on positioning our downspouts to avoid water leaking onto the deck. These guys are the real deal - honest, polite, efficient and the only ones we will use for any roofing jobs going forward. Highly recommended!

During the recent heavy rains, I had leaks in my roof. Seeing water dripping into my living room and basement filled me with anxiety. My father in-law told me about Serg and Andrew. Although very busy, they were able to come to my house to help me. Within minutes, Andrew and his co-worker were able to find the culprit. Not only did they fix that particular problem, they listened to some ice damming issues I have been having and quickly had a remedy in motion. They were at my house for a good chunk of time to get everything done and for the total amount of work and materials they provided, I was VERY happy with what I was charged. The guys at Homestar Roofing took the time to show me what had failed on my roof and how what they were going to do, would fix the problem. If I have any other issues with my roof, waves or facia, I know who I’m calling.

Our roof was starting to crumble. Serge assessed it quickly and provided clear options in simple terms. The work was quick because of the large team they had working at the same time. They put up plywood boards around the house to prevent damage from debris, and cleaned up so well afterwards you would not notice work was just done. Overall a professional crew and a professional job done. The service after installation is great so far, answering our inquiries and coming back to double check on an old leak (was there before the installation). We highly recommend them!
