While no other roofer followed through, he showed up all smiles in rain and snow, and inspected the deficiencies left by a so called reputable roofing company! Without his inspection, I would have no bearings for the bad roofing job to be addressed by the other company. Sergio is very professional and very knowledgeable, aware of all the best practices of roofing passed down from his family business. He will not leave you stranded and deliver the best possible solution for your roof. I wish all roofers were as honest as him. It was a tough task for me to find people who can not just work on a roof, but remove a chimney stack first. I have received number of quotes ranging from $800 to $2,800. Most of the people I have contacted considered this job as too small and were not interested in at all.

Finally I have got a contact of Andrew from Home Star Roofing.
He promptly understood everything I needed. Next day he came and looked at the house, the chimney needed to be removed and at the surrounding area, we agreed on the price.
His crew came at the morning and they already have matching shingles to patch the roof. The work was done in 2-3 hours, the remaining chimney was carefully filled with insulation materials and the roof was professionally fixed. There is no sings of presents of the former chimney on the roof, the result looks great!

Coming home later that day I was pleasantly surprised with extremely clean side walks and driveways and absence of old bricks. The guys have not left even a bit of a mess after turning down 2 meters chimney from two-story building.
I'm pleased with Home Star Roofing guys work quality and quick response time.

Serge provided a thorough and accurate quote and in fact was the only person who actually went on the roof to measure before providing the estimate. Serge was able to accommodate with ease the additional items I was looking for including: taking down an unused chimney, installing drip edge, gutter guards and an additional bathroom vent. His team was respectful, they left the job site clean and completed the job in a single day. I am extremely happy with the results and I would strongly recommend Home Star Roofing.
