Holden and the team were awesome to work with from start to finish. During the quote phase of our project they were the most clear on the scope of work and understood exactly what we were looking for. Before even receiving prices, we planned to work with LARCON for their knowledge and clear plan of attack for the job. It helped that not only were we most comfortable with them, but their price came in exactly where we had hoped.

Scheduling was a breeze due to their quick and professional communication. On the day of the job, the workers were efficient in their work, and patient with my questions. They left the site cleaner than they started, and their work was exactly to the quality I had hoped.

I would recommend LARCON engineering to anyone looking for structural remodelling and although we hope we won't need too, we would gladly use them again in the future.

Large and challenging residential project. Major structural changes (5 beams including a 24" beam about 10 feet long with a 30' x 10" beam welded to it and raised into the ceiling so posts could be removed). LARCON had it engineered, permitted, executed, and inspected (passed) flawlessly and safely and a day early. It was fascinating to watch and I learned tons (sorry for all the questions boys).

I hired Larcon to reframe and increase the stair opening from my main level to my basement after having my basement underpinned. They were great to work with and they were able to get it all completed in 6 hours. They even went the extra mile to close a gap that started to form between some existing double joists and added bolts to ensure they would not pull apart. I would recommend Larcon in a heartbeat.

I recently had a load bearing wall removed and beams put across to support the roof. The Larcon team was able to get everything done earlier than projected and did an excellent job. Holden, Taylor and Tim worked on our project which consisted of the removal of two structural posts in the basement and then replacement with a large commercial grade beam that spans our entire basement width. The team worked very hard coming into work by 7am and got the job done in 2.5 days later. We are happy with the result and glad we now have uninterrupted space in the basement for recreation! If you can get a hold of them you are definitely in great hands.

I hired Larcon Structural to remove a load-bearing wall and another non load-bearing wall from the main floor as part of a renovation. Holden and his team were a pleasure to work with. Larcon clearly specializes in wall removal, cares about the quality of their work and the customer, were always available to answer questions and took the time to ensure that the job was well done and that any concerns were addressed quickly and effectively. Holden's team worked efficiently, making sure that their work area was tidy and dealt with the City inspector as needed. The pricing of the work was in line with the other quotes that I got but Larcon demonstrated upfront that they wanted to do the job right and took care of all the approvals and permits needed. From the very first phone call to our floors being swept and vacuumed after the job, Larcon was a pleasure to work with. After getting quotes from over 5 loadbearing wall removal companies, we learned quick who was the real deal and who wasn’t.
