One Landscaping Interlocking Stone Fence Installation & Decks

Chris is very personable and was eager to please us and meet our needs. We appreciated his work on our initial design and his willingness to give us an opinion on what would work best for us. Ultimately the finished product has garnered many positive comments from neighbours and visitors. His crew was skilled and hard working and the quality of the work was excellent. They made all efforts to clean up after themselves. Although Chris is very busy, he would eventually respond to any questions and concerns to our satisfaction. Overall we were very pleased with the project and felt we chose the right company for the job.

This project was the removal of our old and installation of a new fence at our home in Pickering, Ontario, [a joint project with neighbors, a total of 3 fences], which was arranged through on of those neighbors. The work began mid June 2019, and was completed in less than 2 weeks. I was very impressed that it was only one person on the project named Pete. He was very pleasant, professional and helpful. I was further impressed that he worked so quietly. My wife had an area set aside for her gardening. That area wasn't disturbed at all. We didn't have to pick up any garbage or work related debris.
Closer to the end of the project, I spoke with Chris MacCarthy, who was also very pleasant, professional, accommodating, and courteous.

The last day of the project after Pete left, I found a screw driver bit, called Chris to let me know, and he said that he'll stop by the next time he's in the area to pick it up, meet me and say hello. I thought that's the type of service I really appreciate, a business that is personable.

I'm confident that I can speak for our neighbors as well. We would definitely recommend One Landscape Interlocking Stones & Decks. Chris and Pete, thank you so very much for being so efficient and doing such a wonderful job.

Excellent work with a great crew. The job turned out to be more than Chris had expected but he took it in stride and made the adjustments so that we now have a beautiful upper and lower deck with a nice wide flight of steps. Great clean-up job too! Thank you!

At first we were impressed. Chris presented well with a plan and his crew were very polite and hard working. The project was supposed to take 3-4 days to complete Chris said. The first day was a great start they cleared the area and were ready to start adding the new materials. As soon as the neighbors saw this fantastic start they began asking for little jobs aswell. The steps began crumbling and became a hazard, and the walkway was cracking and some tiles needed replaced. Chris and his crew responded and replaced the faulty steps and cracked stones at no charge and were very polite about it. Our landscaping job looks amazing again! We would definitely have one landscape design and build come back to do future jobs for us! Thank you Chris and crew for the beautiful work!

We met Chris at the backyard expo show in 2017 to discuss our project. He met with us a few times early in 2017 to scope out our entire project and listen to our ideas. He also provided some of his own expertise to try and steer us in the right direction in terms of design, which we appreciated. Our project was originally slated to begin in April 2017; however, due to the rainy weather, the work was postponed until November 2017 and completed in early spring 2018. Throughout the time his team was working on our project (amazing crew!), Chris was very attentive to our questions and knew what to do when we ran into design issues or problems or if any items were missed or broken.

One of our minor complaints throughout the process was lack of communication. Throughout the months where we were waiting for the work to begin. It was very hard to get a hold of Chris and I would suggest he hire an office assistant or a dedicated person to handle his many requests from clients. It would relieve some of the frustrations we felt along the way.

All in all, we were very satisfied with the end product and got to enjoy our new landscaping and remodel throughout the summer of 2018. The project was quite extensive and included: new driveway, new pathways and stone walkways, new garage door/side door and storm door, fence refacing, deck build, new light fixtures, new accent lighting and many more items. The completed work is very impressive and Chris always made sure to make us happy with the end product.

Chris and his crew did a fantastic job on our Custom Garage Build. His team is friendly and easy to work with. Chris responded within minutes to my calls and text messages. His customer service is one I have never experienced before. Would highly recommend his company for any work due to his communication and being true to his word.

I was very pleased with how my interlocking walkway from my deck to my gate turned out and how efficient Chris and his crew were to get it done in half a day. Great price and would highly recommend!!

Chris and his crew transformed our backyard in basically 2 days. The deck constructed by Austin and Jeremy went quickly and efficiently. My biggest concern was in how ineffectively I was able to communicate with Chris himself. There were problems with the glass panels, which were replaced on several occasions, but never to our final satisfaction. Unfortunately once I had paid in full for the job to the carpenter and not to Chris himself, he never came by to talk about our issues or see the problem for himself. I have unanswered emails from him to this date and he immediately passed us off to the manufacture and appears to have washed his hands of the issue entirely. Our original plan was always to have a 2 part job, first the back yard, then the front and side yards. Sadly trust has gone and we will no longer be dealing with One Landscape. UPDATE **** Chris and One Landscape have come through in the end to meet our expectations. With perseverance on both his part and ours, we have the yard that we have always wanted. Thank for caring enough to work with us.
