Request was to move a dryer from point A to point B:
NOTE: Before I continue, I recommend if you are reading this-read all the poor comments and look at the tone and theme of the "customer service" responses. Never their fault and always an excuse.
-During the discussion of the quote, it was not mentioned that the electrical needed to be moved as this COULD NOT be completed by the contractor. My assumption was that all work to move the dryer would be completed.
-I will take accountability for not considering or asking that direct question; however, not being an appliance or electrical expert (hence my call to this company) I would think that would be called out as a step in the process?
-After several other issues with this job, over the course of a 2 week delay, I find out half way through "moving" the appliance that electrical is not part of it.
-The only person who can help me, again only one in the entire company is Denis the "head" of customer service. I called him for the 3rd time that day to deal with this issue and I was angry and frustrated. Instead of taking a customer service approach to acknowledge the issue and provide an apology, he continued to talk over me, giving excuses while defending they were not electricians. He refused to listen to the point I was making about educating me on what they can and cannot do during the process. (which I would have made arrangements for…)
-He then told me to calm down and to call back when I was in a better mood. He then HUNG UP ON ME.
Side note: they never sent an electronic quote as indicated they would and when asked for it today, they only sent the final invoice with a conveniently added note about electrical-After I was told specifically that this was not on the notes on the work order. They also signed their name for me as acceptance of the work completed.
