Popcorn Ceiling Removal

Dexter is great to work with and always made time for us despite being extremely busy. He was always courteous and made sure to check in before coming by.

We had our popcorn ceiling removed to a smooth a finish. The work completed is very acceptable and, as the contractor advised, will have some small imperfections that we may notice but others won't.

Keep in mind that you should wait until PCR has the ceiling work before painting your walls. They don't tape anything off so the ceiling primer is all over the walls.

We are so happy with the work and would definitely recommend PCR.

We had a huge job completed (approx. 2,200 sq. feet) of popcorn ceiling removed, with our family room being 18 feet high. I was tired of the beams and the textured ceiling in the family room. It was difficult to get anyone to come over to do a quote and then one day I saw Dexter’s sign. I gave him a call and he came the next day. After discussing what was needed, he gave me a fair quote and an estimate of how long the job should take. The work started within a couple of days and was finished by the end of the week. The ugly, dated, textured ceiling now looks smooth, beautiful and modern.

The work consisted of, preparation and isolation of the area, a lot of scraping, sanding and drywall compound, more sanding and eventually a coat of primer for the ceiling. After the final clean up, I was so satisfied with the outcome, I decided to renovate the whole first floor.

Dexter and his crew did a great job removing the 80's popcorn ceiling. The price was reasonable and done within the agreed upon time frame. I would highly recommend Dexter and the crew! A happy consumer!

We purchased a condo in May of 2015 and wanted to remove the popcorn ceiling which had been there since the 80's. My wife so dexter's sign and called him in for a quote. Dexter started in October and took about a week to finish.(we had close to a 1000 sq ft of ceiling), We also had him prime the ceiling as well and it looks great. They did a great job and worked around our furniture because unfortunately we didn't have the luxury of having it done before we moved in. I've included some pictures of the job well done. As a side note we decided to paint our ceilings with a "pearl finish" and really gives its a nice sheen to the ceiling. ..thanks popcorn removal.
