I had a 30 year old drafty slider that didn't slid much any more. In fact it got worse depending on the weather. Ants were coming in and it looked terrible. I ended up searching hi and low for quotes for a patio slider and Peter got back to me quickly. He answered all my questions and went over options in the show room. I ended up going for the pricier option based on Peters expertise and recommendations and I am very happy with that call. In the end Alex and his team came in just before Christmas and installed the door in less than 1/2 a day. They were very professional and cleaned up the site.slider looks good and now I can enjoy a cooler summer and warmer winter!

We give Legacy Windows the highest recommendation possible! We were long overdue for a complete replacement of every window in our house along with the front door. After getting several quotes and talking to numerous companies, we were unsure of which way to proceed. Then we found Jayden and we immediately felt comfortable with him and the entire window replacement process. He gave us lots of very helpful advice in making some key window redesign decisions and was completely patient with us as we contemplated this major investment in our home. We were very pleased with our legacy team that replaced our windows. We had a fair amount of windows so it was not a small job and we were surprised at how effiicient they were with their time. Every day they came with all the materials needed and were very organized. We would for sure refer them to other neighbours , family or friends.

Our first initial home visit was also a good experience as Jayden had a few suggestions which really helped in the final decisions and you could tell he looked at windows not just as a piece of glass but took into consideration the style and character of the home as well as the function needed in the window.

We were also pleased that legacy windows was able to provide and pre stain all the new exterior mouldings that were required , as not all companies provide this service.

After 7 quotes with all the big names in the window industry, we decided to go with Legacy for a couple of reasons. First trust, Legacy has its owners involved in the day to day operations- meaning they have more to lose if things dont go well. Jayden did a fantastic job educating me, and working the price to reach my budget. No dancing around, just professional business. Jordan and his crew showed up on time, cleaned up each day and most importantly did a fanastic job installing “new-construction” style vinyl tech windows. They even worked around my young daughter’s nap schedule. We are extremely pleased with the product, install, and entire experience. We have recommended Legacy to our neighbours, friends and family.

The team from Legacy was amazing from start to finish. The attention to things like trim and waterproofing gave us peace of mind and they look fantastic! So happy with our windows. Would definitely recommend and will be using them again in the future.

We had discussed window installation with a number of companies before deciding to select Legacy Windows and use Vinyltek windows for our renovation. I am extremely happy with the window selection and even more please with the window installation company. Jayden is extremely knowledgeable and offered suggestions that greatly improved the look of our project. We now have a 12' wide window (with one piece of glass) framing our view and we can't stop looking at it. Spectacular. Alex, Luke and Nick did a fantastic job of the installation. Well done lads. We are looking forward to Phase 2 of our project and working with the team again.

These guys are amazing. There, I said it... full disclosure. If you don't want to know the details about why these guys are amazing, stop here. But I am pretty sure you are very interested in such details, aren't you? That's why you are here. Oh, and by the way, consider yourself warned: I will repeat that these guys are amazing a few times down the review.

Let's start with Peter. Two words to define him: knowledge and patience. He knew all necessary details to accommodate my never-ending stream of questions and doubts, but more importantly, he had the patience to endure a couple of dozens of revisions to our project, never diminishing the quality of his pre-sale service, and always finding the best solution for our needs, window by window. Peter is, in one, word, amazing.

Then came Alex, Chris, Jaxon and more recently Luke, the installation team. Two words to define them: professionalism and respect (well, Alex gets a perfectionist on top of the two, which is what you want in a contractor). They went out of their way to make sure the installation went as smooth as it gets, without sacrificing one inch of quality. Quite the opposite: the quality of their work was all the time at the top of their minds. They left perfectly installed windows, but also repaired some issues surrounding the window frames, and even loose rocks from my chimney (without me even asking!). Alex and team are, in one word, amazing.

But it does not end there. As with any project, things happen. We got some glasses with wrong specifications from the manufacturer, and a few others with scratches. Worry not! The Legacy-Vinyltek warranty combo works quickly and efficiently. Once again, Peter and Alex's team worked on the replacements as steadily and professionally as they did with the first installation, making sure that the client ends up happy. Legacy's post-sale service and warranty is, in one word... you know the drill.

The project also included a full replacement of the envelopment of the back bump out, to make it full vinyl for better weather proofing. They did an outstanding work with that too.

You cannot go wrong with these guys. I told you, they are amazing, and now you know why.

From the beginning stages Legacy was amazing. Jayden was super kind and went all out to get us what we needed and wanted within budget.

Once work started Alex and his team were fantastic! At one point, I had no idea there were so many guys working as they were all very quiet and respectful of our family and our neighbours. Alex is very much a perfectionist (which suits me fine) and very honest with his opinions - he wouldn’t tell me something was ‘fine’ when it really wasn’t even if it meant more work for him.

Legacy Windows was the 7th and last company I got quotes from and I am so glad that I didn’t cancel that appointment.

I would and have recommended them to anyone and will be using them again next year for a few more window replacements.
