Popcorn Ceiling Removal

Needed the popcorn ceilings removed and painted at my home in King city and daughters condo in Toronto. The Stucco Dr team made the entire process as user friendly and professional as you can get. Tyler came to my house on the same day I initially called and provided a very reasonable estimate that evening. Once Stucco Dr was selected, they provided the necessary insurance for the condo board at my daughters condo very quickly. My wife and I were able to continue to live at our home with minimal distraction as the stucco dr crew scraped, painted, applied touch-ups and cleaned up what turned out to be a very thorough and outstanding job.

Mustafa and crew did a great job on my popcorn ceilings on the main floor (approx. 500sf). The work was done on time as originally estimated. He is one of the friendliest guys you'll meet. He is an honest man and told me to get my potlights done before bringing him in to fix up the ceilings so that they come out perfect even though it would be a little more difficult for him.

He was reasonably prompt in returning phone calls and giving status updates. During the initial walkthrough, he noticed the walls and the baseboards were in bad shape and offered to patch them up at an extra cost. In the end, the baseboards came out pretty nice and the walls were patched up to my satisfaction. He even helped to patch a large water damaged spot near my shower that I told him that he didn't need to do. I can tell he's a meticulous person because of the quality of the work.

However, I am deducting a star for 2 reasons: 1) He left my house key with his partner and I was unable to get it back for 3 days after the job was complete; 2) Before I signed him on to do the job, he stated he was going to use Benjamin Moore ceiling paint. Afterwards, I asked him what paint he used because I needed to fix up my painting miscues, he said he used Para instead because he was price matching another contractor for me. I would've preferred that he told me up front but at least he told me when I asked.

All in all, despite the lost star, I would still highly recommend Mustafa and his team to anyone looking to remove popcorn ceilings.

I needed to hire someone to remove the ugly stucco from our ceilings. I shopped around and spoke to a bunch of people but was immediately impressed with Stucco Dr's responsiveness. They engaged me with my needs and the scope of the project and was proactive every step of the way.

The job began with Tyler and crew showing up ON TIME and preparing my house. The crew was shockingly thorough and their attention to detail was above and beyond ANYTHING I have experienced before.

The crew did an amazing job and even went above and beyond the original estimate by doing some extra touch ups on the last day in some of the other rooms. They cleaned up so well that my house was cleaner when they left than the day they came... how many contractors can you say that?

Today Stucco Dr and their three best guys finished the removal of popcorn ceilings of my living room, dining, entry and hallways. The quality of work done at my property this week was 100%. I rarely give a 100% mark to anyone and have only had one worker in my home the past nine years I would give this grade to; however, the ceilings in my house are now flawless.

Their prices are competitive and the team are solid and trustworthy. It was a stress free pleasure to have these gentlemen work on my house. The results are truly magnificent.

Hiring contractors can be a nightmare as they essentially invade your home. You need someone you can trust that will treat your possessions with care. I personally was a nervous wreck as I have some very fine furnishings these guys needed to work around. However, in the end these guys got the job done.

We are very happy with the work done by Mustafa and his team. He called me back the same day to book a consultation and price quote. He came in the following evening and he thoroughly explained the entire process and what we could expect. He was able to move things around and bumped up the time he could come in to do the job :) At the same time, we were having our kitchen cabinets refinished. Mustafa was very accommodating and worked around the cabinet staff when they came in to remove the cabinets. He was very thorough in his work, as well as being a perfectionist. In order to meet our needs and time constraints, he came in all day on the long weekend and stayed past 11 pm!!! You don't see that very often. He is very dedicated and proud of the work he does.

We are truly appreciative of all is hard work and very happy with the end results :)

I found Stucco Dr on googles number 1 spot and had them come over to provide a bid for our home in Vaughan. Mustafa came over within 24 hours, gave me an honest bid, and provided me with several options. I also had 2 other contractors come over but they were trying hard to sell me and their bids were much higher. We chose Stucco Dr for the job and they were available to come do the job within a 2 weeks which was nice since I'm super impatient!

They were wonderful to work with. They came on time, brought all supplies, covered the floors and furniture, and did a superb job. Overall, we are very pleased with their work and will be hiring them to do the rest of our home too!

We had to get the popcorn ceilings removed in our place due to water damage. I called Stucco Dr and they took care of me, just like he did 2 years ago. As before, the guys are meticulous and friendly and super nice to work with. They left my place looking better than new. Also, unlike nearly EVERY other Popcorn Ceiling Removal company I've spoken to, They ALWAYS calls back! Seriously, it's a rarity for someone to call you back when they say they will. Mustafa and his team really do a great job. They came in to remove the popcorn ceiling and leave the house looking better then when they got there. Leaving no trace of them being there except for transforming the areas worked in.

The team always show up on time and they finished the job within our agreed upon budget.
