Splish Splash Bathrooms

Let me start by saying that bathrooms are one of the most important (if not, the most important) rooms in your house. There are multiple water sources that, if not installed/completed properly, could seriously compromise not just the immediate area but also cause damage to other areas of your house. You get what you pay for when it comes to any type of renovations, so spend wisely when it comes to your bathrooms!

Now, let me explain why I would recommend Splish Splash without hesitation:

- My partner and I received 8 quotes (yes, 8!) for the 2 bathrooms we needed completely renovated, with an outrageous range in the prices. Splish Splash's quote was neither the lowest, nor the highest, but it was clearly the most accurate, detailed and transparent. This is because from the minute Nucu stepped into our house, he really took the time to review and assess the site conditions. He even noticed an issue with our floor joists that even our GC already on-site hadn't told us about! To say he was thorough would be an understatement - his meticulousness was what gave us confidence that no other contractor had - that the work would be done well, done right, and done within the quoted price & budget.

- This was our first time doing bathroom renovations, and Nucu ensured that we had the information required to make informed decisions. He provided guidance on everything, which really put us at ease and reassured us that we were in good hands. He also provided solid recommendations while completely understanding our vision for the bathrooms. For example, I had told all contractors that I wanted a linen closet in a specific spot in one bathroom just because, in my head, it seemed like a good idea there. Nucu was the only one to point out that the toilet would obstruct the linen closet and suggested an even better and more sensible place for it.

- Communication is the key to any good contractor-client relationship. Nucu was extremely communicative throughout the process, and made sure we understood what was going on. He was also extremely receptive and responsive to calls, and no matter how basic and silly some of the questions we had were, he was never dismissive and he provided detailed responses and gave us the information we needed.

- The quality of service is a cut above. Not only are Nucu & his team extremely professional, but they are invested in the work they do. Through no fault of theirs, there was a crack in my new bathtub only weeks after the install. Nucu was ready to have the issue addressed immediately for my peace of mind.

- Last, but certainly not least, our bathrooms are beautiful!!! The Splish Splash team did an AMAZING job beyond what we imagined. To be clear, our upstairs bathroom needed all of the fixtures (tub, toilet & sink) to be re-configured. Our basement bathroom also needed re-configuration, the concrete floor to be broken out and door/wall to be re-located & re-built to accommodate a new washer & dryer - the installation of which they also did. Contractors we have coming in for other work have also marveled at the bathrooms and how well done they are, which further speaks to their quality!

We had 2 small outdated bathrooms that we wanted to renovate. We found Nucu right here at Homestars and requested a quote. Nucu came by and what first struck me was his friendly and easy going nature. I knew this was a guy I could work with. His website states that he holds good communications as paramount. This was proven true during our renovations.

Nucu and his team brought a high level of professionalism and dedication to their craft every day. My sense was that our project was more than a "job" to them but they were working on "their own" bathrooms. Nucu was also flexible in scheduling the work around our unique circumstances.

The Splish Splash team arrived early and left late every day until the projects were finished. Before proceeding with work each day, they prepared the worksite to minimize and contain any mess that may occur. As well, after work, each day they would clean up and vacuum any mess that may have occurred during the workday.

The Splish Splash team is synonymous to superior quality of workmanship and exceptional level of attention to details. These guys know what they're doing and they do it right.

I've known Nuco for 7 years and this is the 2nd beautiful, high end luxury bathroom he has built for me. It was a complete gut and we utilized very expensive and high quality materials. My house is 'my home' and having every part of this renovation go well was very important. He is an expert, a professional and a genuinely good guy. His vast knowledge and workmanship is impeccable. That aside, I completely trust Nuco because he has integrity and is honest.... Big reasons why I would only consider Nuco for this job. In the home renovation business, you just can't find a contractor that offers the full package.

Nucu and his team at Splish Splash were pros. Listened to our requests, brought our very specific vision to life all with an accurate estimate and the job finished in time (10 business days), complete bathroom reno. They left daily leaving things VERY clean for us. Returned for a few touchups and we were left very happy with our bathroom.

After 17 years in our house with 2 outdated bathrooms, we finally decided to renovate one of them. Our ensuite has a shower but no tub and the main bathroom everyone uses had a tub that is never used. We decided to do the reverse and remove the old tub there and have a new shower installed. Nucu and his team gave us an estimate that was detailed and comparable to others we had. I had a good feeling after reading other reviews here and decided to go with Splish Splash and we were not disappointed. The job took less than 4 days total and the worksite in our house was cleaned before finishing each day. The finished shower is even better than we hoped. I can easily agree with everything said in all of the other 10/10 reviews so I won't repeat. The one thing I was most impressed with was the fact that I asked a lot of questions along the way and I think that would put off some contractors but Nucu and George answered each question with more info than necessary. I could tell they really like the work they do and don't mind talking about it. We are planning to have the ensuite done in the next year and will be sure to call Nucu.

Beyond happy with the results of our bathroom renovation! We cannot say enough good things about Nucu and his team. From the very beginning, Nucu made the process easy for us. This was our first reno and we had no idea what we were doing. Nucu was so helpful and provided us with a detailed list of everything we needed. The reno itself went smoother than we ever could have imagined. Nucu and Sina took such care in our home the entire time, covering the floors and walls, even vacuuming at the end of each day to keep it clean! They were so detail oriented, making sure everything was perfect for us; true professionals in every way. They also finished on time, which was super important to us since this is our only bathroom. We had our bathroom redone by Splish Splash in November and couldn’t be happier. Being in a condo we were nervous about getting the right team in since there are so many facets to deal with - management, security, elevators, time/noise restrictions etc. Nucu and team were great through it all.
They were professional, on time, had great communication, and were priced really well in comparison to other contractors we met with. Nucu had great suggestions and walked us through every option we wanted to discuss. We will definitely be using them again.

I am tickled pink with the absolutely perfect results from having my two bathrooms so beautifully renovated by Nucu and his two extremely multi talented men, Domi and Slav. A true pleasure to have had them working so very hard and diligently in my home. They were very helpful and considerate in transforming my ensuite bathroom into a safe environment for me , I am now finally able to feel completely comfortable in the bathroom area.

Now onward to a very necessary kitchen makeover and I am sure it is going to be another positive , pleasing renovation.

We had Splish Splash fully renovate our Shower. Nucu offered excellent advice on colour, type of tile and fixtures. He enlarged the opening and installed a glass door. The shower door estimator commented that in 17 years this was only the 6th shower that was perfectly square...due to excellent workmanship. We recommend Splish Splash. We had our upper floor bathroom fully renovated by Splish Splash Bathrooms. Nucu's crew came every day on time and completed the project within the time frame provided. They had great recommendations and consulted us on all details/decisions. They covered our stairs and floors and cleaned up at the end of each day. Our new bathroom exceeded our expectations.
