Pinhole Leak on Main Floor of House

Tim knew exactly what the issue was without explaining much over the phone. He gave a very reasonable quote over the phone (much lower than previous plumbers and handymen had given us) and made time in his schedule to come as soon as possible. He was able to take down a Mahogany panel (it's a very old house) with no damage and fix the leak within a matter of one hour. Extremely efficient and accommodating. Would recommend Tim to anyone!

Many including electrical, plumbing, dry wall, painting, baseboards

Tim is always profession, on time, easy to reach or get ahold of and sticks to quote given. He pays great attention to detail , and provides the quality to my home he would expect at his own. He has gone above and beyond to get materials to make my project unique and better then I expected. I have highly recommended to friends and family and will continue to do so.

TV mount installations; fire rated drywall and door installation

Tim responded promptly to our call and give us an estimate. Having in mind our limited budget (we are a non-profit agency) he offered a range of prices to accommodate our needs. He always arrived on time and worked diligently until the job was done. He's efficient, makes excellent suggestions and is very easy to work with. Our continuous communication throughout the process was effective. The finished work was very good, completed within the schedule, with outstanding craftsmanship and neatly. We were very satisfied with the services provided. Tim is very polite and well-mannered and we would highly recommend his services to anyone.

Hung several large items, fixed toilet

I had a fantastic experience with Tim the Handyman! I called him with regards to hanging three guitars (a job that sounds easy but after 2 attempts on my own, seemed impossible). I was lucky enough to get Tim himself and not only was he able to come within the hour, but he was extremely professional and did a superb job. He also took a look at my running toilet and was able to fix it on the spot. I will definitely be using his services again and would highly recommend him to all my friends and family. Thanks again, Tim!

Bathroom Renovation

I was very dissatisfied with the service and quality provided by “Tim the Handyman”. I was very clear with my initial service request, sending multiple emails outlining the job - the workman was not prepared with the proper tools, nor was he willing to return with the proper tools necessary to provide the agreed upon project. He was in a very big rush to leave (was only there for less than 2 hours), even though there was still work to be done and there is a required 3 hour minimum.

I understand my project was a small scale request, but it is an important renovation to me and I did not receive the respect or quality I should have received.

Company Response

Most bathroom vanity installations plus plumbing cost around 250 to 300 plus, plus taxes and materials. We completed this job for the customer for less than 70. Not only that, but we did so on a Saturday noting that she was a referral. Numerous time we told the customer that we are really working hard to fit her in at such a low cost and that we wouldn't be able to do this for anyone else, but it doesn't seem as though our efforts were taken into consideration.
The materials not provided were some drywall materials that she had said might be needed after a medicine cabinet would be removed. Unfortunately we, and the customer, never clarified or mentioned that the cabinet was embedded in the wall which is considerably more work than simple removing one from a wall. This was a learning that we've certainly used since to always clarify details like this before going to a job.

Bathroom Renovation

Tim and his staff member did a fantastic job on our bathroom. We purchased most of the materials and they completed the job. Tim kept us up to date with progress and any hiccups as that came up and was quick to offer solutions. He finished the job in a fairly decent time frame, and was always on time... I think our little dog even made a new best friend. Trustworthy, fair and honest. A true selling feature on our condo.

floors, painting, stone wall installed

I had my floors, and a stone wall, light fixtures and painting of my entire condo done by Tim himself, so when I needed other work done by someone I would trust in my home, Tim sent me Paul who did an amazing job hanging up my sliding doors, and putting in sensor light switches. I will absolutely use this company again.

More about Tim The Handyman

We started out small with just a few customers. But we have built a business on taking pride in the work we do for other people's homes.

Why can we quote over the phone? When a contractor drives to your house to give you a quote, he's building into that quote the fact that he spent half a day driving out to your house. He's also adding more on top just in case something goes wrong and his men have to stay longer to finish the job.

We don't like that. We've been doing this for years. We are the professionals. We know how long things take without having to see it in person. It's simple. We've done it a hundreds of times before.
