Elie was very detail oriented with the design and measurements of the kitchen. He thoroughly inspected all product before his meticulous installation. Always a pleasure to work with a professional!

We had a large 20 year old white-washed oak kitchen that was looking a little dated. The cabinets were in great shape, so we chose to reface rather than redo the kitchen. During our initial consut, Elie did the standard measuring, and offered some design options for our rather tricky peninsula that turned out to be amazing. We had all new Maple cabinet doors (34 of them) with soft close hinges throughout. We had all of the drawers (12 of them) updated to soft close which meant replacing all drawers and tracks. We also had 3 corner shelving units rebuilt in the new wood and colour. New crown moulding, kick plates, fascia, light trim, cabinet panels and sliding cupboard inserts finished things off. The new kitchen looks beautiful. Elie was always here when he said he would be here and was always friendly and professional. He took the time to explain everything he was doing. His attention to detail was second to none. Every mitre is perfect, every pin hole covered and the place was cleaner when he left than it was when he got here. There were a couple of small things that came up. Elie offered us multiple solutions and the results were stunning. He also took a couple of suggestions from us and used them in place of his original plans. We couldn't be happier with the work and the final product. Several friends have asked us who did the work, and we gave out Counter Measures card without hesitation.

We are thrilled with our new kitchen from Counter Measures. Elie was a pleasure to work with. From the onset he offered great ideas and suggestions and delivered a fantastic final design that is our kitchen today. Elie was patient and prompt, taking time to address all questions and any minor concerns we had throughout the project. The kitchen was delivered on schedule and within budget. We could not be happier with our experience. The final product is amazing, we are enjoying every minute in our new kichen and all the compliments we have received. I met Elie when I visited the Home Show in Toronto last March. His company was one of several that came to my home for bidding on my kitchen reno job. Elie was thorough and detailed in his explanation of what he'd do and followed up once I selected his company to do the work. Elie's bid was in the middle range of all the quotes I got. Followup was super. Elie made a detailed computer illustration of how my kitchen would look, and explained all my options for hardware, special accessories, etc. He personally installed every one of my custom cabinets and crown moulding. The cabinets are of very good quality and look great! I am very happy with how my new kitchen looks! Very good value for my money!

We have used Elie twice and recommend him highly. The first time we had purchased gently used kitchen cabinets from Habitat for Humanity. Elie patiently configured them into our new kitchen. He made some doors an paneling to match where necessary and modernized the insides with pullout drawers and up to date hinges. Recently we had him back again to build our laundry room cupboards, and laundry sink counter. He also painstakingly constructed on site a hidden storage unit under the stairs in the basement. It is wonderful storage custom made to fit the area with pull out drawers and a hidden push door. He is knowledgeable, patient, has great suggestions for you and has great products for you to choose from.

Recently, we had our kitchen renovated by Elie of Counter Measures.I would recommend Elie because he is dependable. He always keeps his appointments and he is always easy to reach. He was very helpful during the design process because he is able to understand what you want even though you are not always able to explain it completely. He also has some good ideas that enhance the overall design and functionality. He is really creative. He did an incredible job of designing our hood. He has a keen eye for detail.
In all of our dealings with Elie, he was always polite and respectful, never rushing us but giving us time to make our decisions.
We are very pleased with the results and we would recommend him for a kitchen renovation.
