Statesman Group

Everything came out the way we thought it would and Tracy from the Design Centre remembered every little detail of our conversations for my condo. It is beautiful. When I went for my walk-through we only had to get a couple of tiny paint touchups done to make my condo perfect. Thank you all so much Statesman.

I believe everything is done to high standards. The windows have screens which I was so happy to see and they block out all sound from Crowchild Trail. That's awesome. I learned how to use my unit from Ian and he was patient and helpful in my walk through. Thank you so much.

Staff was very helpful from picking out colors to materials used high end appliances. Everything anyone needs.

Purchased a Cabernet Suite in Monterey III and was overall very happy with the product! The walk through was thorough and Ian was great!

Overall a great experience thus far!

This was a general inspection of a new condo in h Groves of Varsity. Our contact with Statesman was Peter, and he showed us details of our new condo. The visit took about 90 minutes.

We are at early stages in the project. Statesman has been excellent in supporting us during the design and building permit phases. I have known about the beautiful projects built by Statesmsn in Calgary, Invermere and elsewhere. They have a great track record which has given much comfort as we build our retreat in the beautiful Pine Ridge Resort.

Lack of quality so called luxury apartment condos. Plumbers, painters, countertop manufacturers, etc. substandard!!! Cost per sq ft outrageous for the quality. Statesman seems feel that they can run this project by bullying and intimidation. Total misinformation about amenities. Parkade is a gong show with one door for entry/exit for more than 300 apts. Lobby in second building is COMPARABLE to low end rental buildings. Disgusting how they led people on. No show suites were available so had to rely on drawings. Useless "design manager". Arrogant staff including their sr management.

Our family thought we were purchasing a new condo from Statesman, but that wasn't the case. The condo was pre-owned and completely damaged by a flood prior to us purchasing it. I cannot believe STATESMAN sold us a condo that was supposed to be new but in fact was a flood repair. We are still angry to this day.

After speaking with their lawyer and letting him know what/when we found out (someone else's mail was coming to the home) , he was not interested in doing anything for us.

Shame on you Statesman!

I purchased a condo at the Groves of Varsity after much research and the excellent service received by the sales staff, however, this did not last after I purchased my unit. I completed some changes to the design of my unit along with upgrades at my design appointment. Before I was even able to move it, Statesman had come back indicating that the initial design upgrades were not doable and that I needed to find another solution. I could not believe that they didn't even try and offer any solutions and made this my problem after taking my money. A resolution finally came into place but if I was only aware that this was just the first of my many problems. First, the delay past the initial estimated possession date was almost 2 years past. Second, upon my possession, my unit was barely passable as being complete - the door lock was non functional, laundry & plumbing was not hooked up, paint job was horrendous, damaged floorboards, amongst many other defects. The customer service went completely downhill after the point of purchase and to date I still have not received any replies from Statesman. It has now been more than a year from my possession and my unit is still incomplete and Statesman refuses to acknowledge the poor workmanship that still exists. They do have some quality front end staff who clearly try their best but it is evident that their hands are tied. These individuals should be given credit. I would not recommend anyone to purchase a Statesman building and would seriously recommend that they take a look at their business practices and most importantly their customer service standards!
