Andre came out, measured, quoted a price, & took a deposit.
He said 6-8 weeks.
In 6 weeks I was called to set-up a date.
The guys came out & installed later that week.
The door was removed, opening prepped, & window installed in a couple of hours.
Then they cleaned up and showed us how to open & clean the window.
Payment was collected and they were on their way.
I WOULD USE WINDOWRAMA AGAIN AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM !! VERY PERSONABLE AND VERY PROFESSIONAL!!

This project went perfectly from start to finish! The owner, Andre arrived at our home within an hour from the time we called the office to ask for an estimate. Andre is a hands on principal who has been in the window business for many years and it shows. He gave us an estimate on the spot and had his installer out the next day to do the exact measurements and order the windows. The installation required not only removing the old windows but basically rebuilding the structural supports from scratch. Todd, who installed the new windows is one of the finest tradesman I have seen. The finished product is fabulous! Once the job was finished, the owner came out to inspect the completed project to ask if we were fully satisfied, and of course we are thrilled. I would highly recommend this company for any window project, big or small. We selected this contractor based on their reviews which were all extremely positive. We cannot say enough about how pleased we were with the overall performance of Windowrama.

I am more than happy with my whole window buying experience. I had quoted out about 5 different companies before deciding to go with Windowrama. Not only was theri price the best, but the product they carried had a lifetime warranty. The sell for me was their high ratings and that the manufacturer of the window had a local distribution center to which I would be able to pick up a replacement free of charge if Andre ever went out of business (which I don't ever see happening with his reviews and level of service). He even showed me how easy it was to swap them out.
Todd (the installer) came out with another gentleman to install my windows and he was very experienced. He knew what caused the leaking problem before he ever took the bad window out (which nobody else could tell me). Sure enough he was right. I am very meticulous and Todd explained everything and showed me tips on what and what not to do. He was very detailed on each installment task. He had to run out and get some 2x4's that were needed for some of the framing that needed replaced. He went out with a smile on his face and just had a legitimate happy attitude. Andre didn't even charge me for the extra wood that was needed. He didn't even bring it up. He did what he said he would do and didn't tack on extra charges (which wasn't major, maybe $15) when almost all of the industry would have.
Windowrama will earn all of my future business. Everyone from that company was personable and pleasant. Todd made it seem like he was my contractor by running through things, reassuring me, and made sure everything was done RIGHT. Awesome company!

I was told wood windows would be 25% to 33% more. However after three times failing to meet their own declared schedule for the job; I terminated the contract with them. I started searching again and a friend recommended homestars, thats where I discovered Windowrama and read the many rave reviews; especially price.
Simply put it - Garry is fantastic! He promptly returned my initial inquiry. When we spoke he inquired if I was set on fiberglass and why to which I responded it appeared I had wood taste in windows but the budget of fiberglass. We set an appointment (I think the man never rests) and much to my surprise - I could get Pella wood windows for LESS ($11,480) than Pella fiberglass ($12,863) and the Pella wood windows look amazing! Additional this included dealing with removing a single window with 2 fixed sidelight panels that had had problems that others could never fix completely.
Another thing that other window companies don't do that Windowrama does free of charge is they take down window treatments and put them back up when they are done. That is a really nice service. Garry and the installers go 110% to make sure you are happy when they are done. Now remember I started this window search in Aug and by the end of my journey I was looking at a January installation date (one week after the severe temperatures) so I was nervous about the time the window openings would be empty and my heat escaping. Here is where Garry and team separate themselves from the rest of the replacement window providers I would expect. Windowrama installers have been working for Garry and together for years. They have a polished process that exchanges the old window with the new one in just a matter of a few minutes. I work from home so I got to watch the process and trust me, there is no issue with a winter replacement. It is really very interesting to watch.
I think what I appreciated was the time they took with my installation. They were on site for 4 days (6-7 hours daily) arriving promptly at the time they said they would each day. Garry stopped by twice to make sure all was going as promised. They cleaned up after themselves as they went along and were very professional.
I can be pretty picky about things so trust me when I say I am gitty over my beautiful new windows and the installation process. Thanks Garry for restoring my faith in contractors!!!!

The company owner Andre, came out to my home and gave me an estimate after patiently answering my many questions and showing me the options. I only had to wait a few weeks for the work to begin. Andre is VERY pleasant to work with and receptive to all concerns I had. I felt the price was very reasonable. My new windows and door look great, function well and make my home very quiet. The installers, Jay and Mike did a fantastic job and were also very pleasant, easy to communicate with and conscientious. The exterior paint job is fantastic and Todd and his crew, were also very pleasant, easy to work with, and conscientious. I found Andre and his team to be great and very trustworthy. Both the installers and the painters showed great attention to detail and took pride in their work, which was definitely justified. I found this to be a company in which the owner and all of his team are very committed to making the customer happy. I have no complaints and would highly recommend Windowrama.

Windowrama installed double-paned, insulated sliding glass windows in our home 4 years ago and they stand by their product for as long as we're living in our home.
Recently the window in our front room was damaged, and when I had the company come out to look at it, he said it needed to be replaced. I asked what the charge would be and he said it would cost me nothing at all, since he stands by his product for the entire length of time I live in my home. He cleaned my windows for free. I had stepped on some of the siding of my house and bent it, and the company is replacing it for free. I am very pleased. I had a window leak and they came back and fixed it for free. I've had a couple other problems and he made three trips to make it right at no additional charge. We've had our windows, siding, and gutters done by this company and have not been let down. We recommend them highly and will continue to use them in the future.

Best investment we have made on our house. We live in a modest English Tudor home in the Mid Toronto neighborhood. Very few of our windows had storms and most were difficult to open. Most were standard double-hung windows with 6 panes top and 6 panes bottom. A few were casement windows, also with 6 panes. The replacements are identical in appearance to the originals, but far easier to open and close. All are high efficiency wood-framed windows, clad with permanently colored aluminum on the outside. We opted for permanent mullions, rather than removable, to separate the individual panes. While this added to the cost—and will make the windows slightly more difficult to clean—the appearance is stunning and looks like the originals must have looked back in the 20's.
Installation and painting started on Monday, and was completed by noon on Friday. The replacement of the sliding glass door added to the installation cost and time, and the finished product looks great. Two carpenters and two painters were assigned to our job. All showed up on time, cleaned up every day, and the only task left for us was light dusting and vacuuming. Four weeks after the installation, we have had no reason to ask them to return. Aledy and his employees are true professionals—we would highly recommend the company for window replacements.

Andre was very responsive and came out to look at the job and then emailed a detailed estimate--something some of his competitors failed to do. His price was fair so we went ahead with the job. They were prompt, did the job neatly and cleaned up the area after working. We had a minor problem with the design of one of the windows and Andre was very easy to work with to get it corrected. We feel the windows are very high quality at a reasonable price. I highly recommend using Windowrama.

This company should be the prototype for all home service companies. Andre is so easy and relaxed to deal with, knows his products and makes wise suggestions as to product use in various settings. From the first time I had called the office, Andre called back very quickly and offered to drop by that afternoon (on a Saturday!) if it was convenient. The windows were installed when they arrived by two WONDERFUL service men. Apparently they have been with Andre for many years - always a sign of a healthy business. They were so clean, quiet, knowledgeable, were very patient in agreeing to take apart and store some of the pieces from the old windows which can be used as replacement pieces for the other 15+ existing windows. There was not a speck of anything left behind inside or outside. So, if you are in need of windows this is the ONLY company to call. If you want prompt, professional and knowledgeable service, this is the only company to call. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends, family and neighbors. Its really quite a surprise (a pleasant one!) to find such a wonderful provider.

When we completely reconstituted an upstairs bedroom, we discovered that we simply needed new windows in it. After I emailed Andre about our problem, he came over the very next day, despite it being near Christmas, and, after quickly assessing what we would want, if we knew enough to articulate it, he measured the windows for replacement. Two men from his staff arrived and installed the windows in one morning and cleaned up after themselves. The whole process could not have been done more efficiently. We anticipate using Window Rama to replace more windows in the future.
