A 1 Checkmate Wildlife Removal & Prevention.

This is the second time I had the pleasure dealing with Louis. He helped me a few years ago with Racoons nesting underneath my backyards deck and this year he helped me with removing a red squirrel nesting in my attack. Louis is on time, polite and knowledgeable. He always investigates the situation before he provides a quote unlike some other companies that quote you over the phone. Besides the work that needs to be done to get rid of the animal, Louis presents options to improve your house in order to prevent future invasions. Overall I am very happy with this company and I would not hesitate to hire him again should the situation arise.

I called A-1 Checkmate because of a raccoon in the chimney. He had a gentle way of removing the raccoon, and installed mechanisms to prevent a further raccoon from entering the chimney. In addition, he noticed some some features with the crown of the chimney that needed repair, which he fixed. He also pointed out some features on my roof that a raccoon could damage, and installed protective features.

His charges were very reasonable, and overall I am very happy with all aspects of the work. Obviously, he is very knowledgeable with the work and what needs to be done.

A1 Checkmate services came in with the best quote and did a fantastic job. They arrived on time and ready to do the job. They removed the exiting nests and installed a barrier to prevent further pests from going underneath my solar cells. They also ensured that my BBQ equipment was properly protected from any debris that would fall during the job. Would use them again if needed.

Louis came out to inspect and then helped remove squirrels from under the solar panels on our roof and then installed a guard to prevent it from happening again. Reasonably priced, and completed the work at the agreed time as well. Highly recommend!

I feel fortunate to have found Louis, A1 Checkmate, recommended by the Town of Aurora animal control department. During skunk breeding season, we had a persistent skunk mother who had built a warm home for herself and her babies under our shed. We tried different solutions like Critter Riddle and moth balls, but nothing worked. We even contacted a pest control company that ripped us off. Feeling helpless, the town recommended A1 Checkmate, and Louis came right away to give us a free estimate, while most other companies quoted me $90 to $150 for estimation. The next day, he built nets around our shed, removed the skunks, and cleaned the site before he left. Thank you, Louis! It was great to work with you.

Louis removed a Raccon mom from my attic and fixed the roof as well. He came back again to address my concerns after 8 month!! If you have any issues with wild animals, Louis is your guy.
