Jeff arrived well within the scheduled window, and (to my delight) put on blue disposable shoe covers to protect my floors before walking into our kitchen to examine our main problem, a failing kitchen faucet. He listened to our observations and concerns, then gave his opinion on the problem, suggested options with faucets that he had found reliable.
Our 34-year-old bathroom sink taps dripped and were hard to turn. Jeff examined them, declared them worth keeping, and explained the work to clean and repair them--and the cost of all the work. My partner and I consulted and agreed to go ahead with both jobs. Jeff left briefly to collect the required parts stocked in his truck (no trip needed to buy or pick up anything). When he returned, he worked carefully, patiently answering my questions (about what he was doing and plumbing in general). His explanations were articulate and enlightening.
Jeff was respectful of our property, cleaning the workspace and moving items as needed. He was careful to ask us about any requirements for parts disposal in our condo building, and left a small, neatly packed box of old parts at our front door.
The kitchen faucet is the newest item in our kitchen, and is a joy to use. The bathroom taps are easy to turn, and sparkle even before I clean them. Thank you, Jeff, for your help.
