Had the boys from Westview Paving finish the Paving today and am extremely happy with the results. The crew was professional and did and amazing job. Highly recommended if your looking for a new driveway.

We went with Westview even though the google reviews weren't great. The reviews were better on Homestars. I think performance depends on the regions and crew you get. We live in the Burlington/Oakville area and their reviews seem better for this crew. Vince, our sales guy was super responsive and met all our needs. Price was very reasonable compared to other quotes - but that was also because he did about 20 driveways in our neighbourhood all at the same time. Workers weren't the most polite and when they didn't pour as much gravel as Vince promised, we had to call Vince, who came immediately and sorted it out. We had a more complicated job (shifted driveway over, did pavers along edges and had a walkway put it), so my husband had to watch them constantly to make sure they did what was promised. Was good to not have to deal with a landscape company and paving company - they coordinated and did it all. Others have commented on cracked driveways - will keep you posted if it does start cracking in a few months. So far looks great though - lots of compliments from neighbours!

Contracted with Vince at Westview to remove and replace existing asphalt and install cement borders on both sides of driveway with walkway and steps to front door.
The quality of workmanship and work crew efficiency and courtesy was excellent.
From a sales perspective, Vince was price competitive and stayed in close touch as to timing of the different phases of the project responding quickly and professionally to emails and phone calls.
Hoping that the all surfaces will be durable and look and perform well as it is today on completion

We had a bit of a wait, because I chose a back ordered stone (of COURSE I did!), but once we had that sorted and swapped, we had a beautiful driveway extension in 48 hours. Vince was highly responsive and the crew was amazingly efficient and NICE.

Roller lines everywhere. Dented my garage door. Driveway sagging where cars are driven on it. Big indents where one of my cars is parked. Poor customer service. Only recommendation I can give is go elsewhere. Reviews everywhere else are pretty bad. Do your homework.

Westview and myself were working on a project together and I have rarely ever seen an owner operator work like Tony (owner). Efficient and a standard for quality. He always went out of his way to ensure the 30 plus units always had access during the construction. It was a pleasure working along side of them and hope to do more in the future.

We've been trying for many months now to get this company to come back and repair a large crack that occurred a month after they paved. Have sent multiple e mails, phone calls etc. The first e mail was sent in June, it's now almost December and there has been no response. What a way to run a business. I see that this is a common thing after reading other reviews. Shameful.

So to be fair to this company I'm posting that this week I received a letter from them apologizing for the delay and extending my warranty until
next year when they can come and look at the repairs required. As such I am adding another star to their score. I'm still not happy with the delay and lack of communication but finally receiving some sort of response now is better than nothing. I will update again after they review the cracks ( hopefully sooner than later ) UPDATE>> The repair has been done and they provided a free driveway seal ) I am happy with the result so I will up their score to a 4. I had my driveway removed, and repaved by Westview August 2018. The job was done very late in the day, after 4 p.m., and I had read reports where ashphalt poured end of day can be sketchy. Regardless, after the job was done I did have questions regarding the workmanship, and asked for sales rep to come to house. I was told that had to give the driveway time to settle, and be used. No visit ensued. This is strike 1...if a customer has a complaint then it's not asking too much to come out and discuss the matter. There has been some loose ashphalt in spots, and the patio stone leading up to my main door has been loose ever since the driveway was paved. In August of 2019 I emailed the sales rep and indicated that I had noticed cracking in 3 spots on the driveway. He was on vacation but suggested I contact the office to report and it would be dealt with before end of the season. It's now Nov 7th, 2019 and I have placed 3-4 calls to the office from August to-date. Each time I was told an urgent message would be relayed but I am still to hear back! No return call! Strike 2. $4,000 is a lot of money to spend on a driveway, and to get no response from Westview is frustrating. We are now coming into the cold season, and if frost creeps into the cracks i will have more of a problem come spring. I also don't want some half hearted job being done now when the weather isn't optimal. this should have been dealt with late summer/early fall when I reached out to Westview.

They did my driveway 2 years ago and within 6 months i saw multiple cracks all over the driveway.
I have been in contact with Roy "the owner" for over a year now and he just promises to come but never does. He can give you 100s of execuses why he can't come or give you a date..

The job is so bad that even after 2 years the asphalt easily come off. They use a very very thin layer.

My family is looking for a good contractor to pave our old driveway for a long time till we met Joe, whose team was paving for my neighbors. We were very impressed by their professional job! Actually we are very happy and lucky to choose the right person. Joe and his team came twice, first they removed the old driveway surface carefully and put enough sand , small stones. During the sediment period, Joe came several time to check the condition. The second time, they came paving and finished very detailed. So now we have a nice brand new driveway. My family is really appreciate Joe and his crew, nice job Joe, thank you!
