For three years we had delayed the the decision to change out all our windows in the house.
The planning, cost, disruption, clean-up and overall apprehension requires careful consideration and some research.
Having reviewed a number of products and companies, we had Kevin Mc Creadie from SilverLine come to explain his companies proposal and give us a quote.
He listened to me and my wife's questions, worries, requirements and expectations and answered our concerns. The quote given was fair and he qualified it with items that needed final measurements or needed review by the technical guys and installers. (I also wanted a new widow punched through a wall and modified slider installed).
The whole process was informative and low key with no up-sell to higher efficiency, less noise, etc, (more costly options). We covered off on likely order and install dates and off he went.
With a tight two day install target, we were given a heads-up to prepare for their team arrival and prepared the window areas ahead of time.
Their installers duly arrived (Chris and Steve) early on day one (in -4C temperature) and hit the ground running. To say that I was surprised at the pace and effort they put in would be an understatement. They completed the whole install as promised and walked us through the house to explain everything including a couple of product deficiencies which they would report and rectify shortly.
We had our blinds and coverings back up within a couple of hours and after a further clean-up, had our house back.
During this whole procedure, I found dealing with SilverLine and their employees a pleasant experience and they met and exceeded all my expectations with regards the products and services provided.
As with all Reno service providers, you need to do your homework, explain your needs and expectations and understand exactly what they will cover in their quote. I think I did and SilverLine delivered.
