My basement was flooded three times since February. It turned out that the tree roots grew into the joints of clay pipes which were used more than 30 years ago. I contacted Water Guard Plumbing with the recommendation from my neighbour. I'm very satisfied with their services. They planned the work with the minimum impact on my house. The work was completed in two days. The guys worked very hard and kept the working area clean. They removed the waste materials out and cleaned the floor after completion. Since my basement floor was covered with carpet before, the guys came back after two weeks once the concrete was completely dried and helped us put the carpet back. This is beyond their normal work. I'm much appreciated because it is impossible for us to move that pile of heavy carpet. I definitely recommend Water Guard Plumbing to others.

Mike, his dad Vasyl (the owner), and the whole crew did an excellent job waterproofing our basement and installing a new floor drain in our laundry room. After looking for more than a year for a capable and competent person to rectify problems with my eaves and yard drains, I found Vasyl and the team at WaterGuard working on a neighbours emergency problem.

I have to say we are beyond happy with Vasyl and his crew. We have used him for different jobs for a few years now on two homes. He was originally referred to us by our neighbour. His prices are always reasonable and competitively priced. He has installed sump pumps and back flow preventers in both of our homes. As well as pipe replacement and installation of 2 floor drains in the basement in both homes. All of his work is top quality and he really takes pride to do things properly. I am so happy to have him as our plumber, he is always there when we have needed his services and he is always punctual. We had a complication and he went above and beyond to make everything perfect. He really does stand behind his work. He is also one of the cleanest contractors I think we have encountered. Plumbing work can be quite messy work but everything was put back together beautifully. Vasyl and his team handled everything quickly and effiently. Suspected the clay pipe under the house was cracked but was broken in more than one place- Vasyl's team excavated and replaced pipes, pipes to city, moved water meter, and waterproofed the basement from the inside. Great work and would highly recommend.
