We're in Toronto, fwiw. Homestars seems to have concluded i'm from San Francisco - no idea why.
I've used ARS in the past for repairs to our dishwasher, washing machine, and now our oven, which had the control panel go kerbluey about a month ago. 5 and a half years old. Grrrr.
Steve (the technician) did the repairs quickly and with no mess. That was great.
The only hitch with this repair is that ARS, as i found out only after the work was complete, was not an authorized repair co. for Frigidaire. That made it impossible for their back office, who ordered the required parts, to see that there was a back order on the control panel or to be able to determine when the parts would come in. If i'd known that, and there's no reason i should have, I would have been a lot less bent out of shape over the three weeks it took to get the parts in. As soon as they were in, it was a snap to get an appointment teed up.
