I went with them as they had a promotion that their service call fee would be waved if you choose them to repair you appliance. The guy in the phone did not let me explain my problem and just kept pushing for setting up an appointment, which happened 3 days later...when the person came, he was not ready to fix my stove on the spot, so he said he had to come back two days later and charge for their time (twice) and parts. Service call fee would be waved, but the overall repair price would be about 300 dollars. 140 just for labour, and around 100 for the switch.
This seemed excessive as it was only a limit switch, hence I called a local guy who would be able to fix the stove the same day. He gave me an opportunity to explain my problem, so he came prepared. It took him only 10 min and charged only 105 for everything!!! I guess ARS has to charge this much to cover their overhead... Do yourself a favour and go with someone else.

Fixed our leaking dishwasher by replacing part. Technician was on time and very polite and helpful. Great work.

Technician reported that needed 2 new compressors at cost of $2000 due to overheating. we declined and got another company to double check. Problem was dust clogged condenser filter which was in the cavity the ARS guy checked- he did not know enough to check it. It was a simple task and the guy was certainly not trained to do any basic work although they knew ahead what make the fridge was
Got run around from company manager Raj who would not return phone calls.
We have to go to Ontario Consumer protection process now to get our money back.

My washer/dryer combo machine started making a lot of noise and even though the machine was not salvageable, I was very pleased with how courteous and professional the Appliance Repair Service team was. I highly recommend them.

The washing machine wasn't draining during the spin cycle. I asked the technician Edgar to open the machine to see the problem. I knew it would cost to have him do that but chose to take the chance. As a result he discovered that there were two things that needed replacing and the cost would have been over $1,000 to repair the machine.

While that was disappointing news I was happy with the advice Edgar gave regarding buying a replacement. I was able to find a top of the line used Frigidaire washer and dryer on Kijiji for $475.

Edgar was friendly and knowledgeable. Even though I requested that he not fix our machine, I appreciated him diagnosing the problem and advising me for the replacement.

Efficient, friendly and reasonably priced. The service technician was diligent is explaining what the issue was and how to prevent a repeat occurrence.

It wouldn't drain all the water so Carlos cleaned the inside water & filter as well as clearing all hoses. He checked the motor to make sure nothing was in it as well. He did an excellent job & cleaned up perfectly!

Dishwasher in tenant's unit not working. David from the company said it was a 'water inlet valve issue'. Took him 15 mins and he charged $270. The tenant confirmed David did not stay to ensure the full cycle of dishwasher ran properly. They heard the dishwasher filling up and he left after that. Over the weekend, the tenant said the dishwasher was still not working. I called the company but David missed the appointment. On the rescheduled visit, he said it was a bigger issue costing $650 to fix. He also talked of charging for the call-out. I wanted a refund (but was refused) as I felt he did not properly investigate in the first place. Will never call this company again.
