We had a new Custom door entry installed in May of this year. The door itself looks great and we have received lots of compliments however the installation was not perfect, there is a visible gap if you look sideways and the door required some minor stain touch up’s which they did do when someone came to inspect. However as for the installation issue, I was told they would get back to me but nobody ever did in spite of 4 monthly follow up calls directly with Mary. I delayed writing this review thinking they would eventually get back to me. Decent looking Fibreglass door but expected better service for the money.

From the moment we first me the team at Value Doors and Windows at a home renovation show, they were all very helpful and knowledgeable. Daniel and Margaret each took the time to listen to what we wanted to change from our current entryway came up with recommendations which were stylish while still being within our budget. They came up with styles and colours that have made a huge difference to the look of our home and we are very pleased with the quality of workmanship.

We also greatly appreciate Margaret's efforts to get our install and filing done before the deadline for the Green Energy Program (which was cancelled by the government after we signed the initial contract).

The old windows in our home were installed in 1975 and they were not your typical factory ordered windows, they were custom windows and doors designed by the builder of the home. When the installers removed the old windows they found that they were attached to the blocks and bricks and there was little or no wood to attach the new windows on, basically they had build the Opening of the windows from scratch. Unfortunately the door openings were designed similar to the windows and they were even more challenging to install.
Despite the challenges the installers did an amazing job. They took their time and made sure that the windows and doors were installed to perfection, and they were. In some parts of the the house there is brick only and no plaster or drywall, the installers added window trims by attaching the wood on the brick and they came out perfect.
The windows and doors look better than we envisioned, the reason for this is the fact that the entire team takes pride in their workmanship and they didn’t move on to the next window until they were completely satisfied of the way they looked.
Value Windows and Doors promotes the company as being a family run business which takes pride in their workmanship and customer satisfaction and they have proved it.
They entire installation team was courteous, polite, respectful, and at the end of each day they made sure the area where they worked was left spotless, took away the floor runners and spread them out again the next day.

It was a pleasant experience having Value Windows and Doors to replace our 30 y/o windows and patio door. Daniel, the owner came for the quotation with a competitive price. Out of some other contractors, we decided to choose Value Windows and Doors for the job. The installation staffs are very professional and efficient. They cleaned-up all the work areas after the job.
