Bedroom Remodelling

When we purchased our house, the upstairs was separated into smaller rooms. It was a dream to create a master suite and when we were finally able to do it, it was important to us that we had a capable contractor who could manage our project, and at a reasonable price. A friend had used Rush Contracting in the past and recommended Eoin. We're very happy he did. The project was coordinated with professionalism, and all of the trades that worked in our house performed, were friendly and respectful. As contractor,Eoin provided several options and included us throughout the design process through execution, he was always on site overseeing work being done. When we decided to add an en-suite (which significantly changed the original designs), they were accommodating and willing to work with our needs to come up with a new plan. My wife and I are thrilled with our bedroom and are already thinking of the next project to work on

replacing windows and doors/new trim

Eoin gave me the best quote for all of the work I needed done (replacing all windows and doors, built in unit in family room and crown molding). Work was done according to schedule, workmen were knowledgeable and very professional, clean up around the house was excellent and workmanship of the job was clear. If I ever need renovations in the future I know who I am calling. Thanks RCD!

Basement renovation

We highly recommend Eoin (the owner) and his team, in fact we are having them back for another project in the next couple of months. They are the only team we will use in Toronto.

The project: we converted our standard finished basement into a luxury in-law/guest suite (a separate apartment). Our basement is STUNNING…it's now the nicest part of the house!

Eoin is great to deal with on many levels. He is extremely reliable, trust worthy and takes a lot of pride in his work, which shows in the quality. He also takes the time to come up with the best solution before proceeding which saves both time and money.

The pricing was very fair - Eoin was up front about things in order to avoid add ons/surprises at a later stage which we really appreciated.

The entire crew were professional and very respectful. We were very comfortable having them in our home and found them all very nice to communicate with.

We look forward to working with Eoin again soon.

Installed multi layered ceiling with green glue and pine planks. Created barn door and frame for my bedroom

What can I say about Eoin and his team. I just moved into a new hard loft and was going crazy because of the noise issues coming from upstairs. It was REALLY bad. I had a friend of friends come in and give me an estimate and he quoted me $9000 for the project. It was too much for me so I started to browse kijiji (I know scary) for a contractor and luckily I found Eoin. What impressed me the most about him was that from the start he was very professional, greeted me, and I could tell he really enjoyed what he did. He has ALOT of knowledge about construction and ALOT of experience. Anyways, he did some research on the net for me and found a sound proofing company from the states with a track record and consulted them on what was the best course of action. He quoted me $5000, which was a fraction of the first quote I received. Anyways the project (4 layers with green glue and resilient channels) was supposed to takes a couple of weeks, but do to the complexity of my loft (exposed electrical and beams) he had to put in a lot more time. What was most impressive for me was that I brought up the topic of paying more money for labour because of the extra efforts on his part and he didn't accept. He has a lot of integrity in what he does and it's very refreshing to see. All in all I am more than satisfied and I wish him all the best. I might bring him back to Reno my bathroom ;)

Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
The more I researched about sound proofing the more I found out its a lot harder than we think. Contact Eoin or Ted White.
