I contacted Jamie after reading all the reviews on Homestars and I am so glad I did. Jamie is very honest, friendly and likable, as are his crew. We had had some recessed lighting installed several months ago and there were quite a few large holes in the ceiling and drywall that needed to be repaired. Jamie and his crew did a fantastic job of retexturing the ceiling and then painting over so that it looked seamless. During that same week, Jamie's painter Tom also painted the stairwell and our master bedroom, two projects we had never been able to get to. Tom was very efficient and very skilled. The paint job is fantastic! He did not tape and yet there was not a speck of paint on the ceiling or baseboards after he finished cutting. I will definitely be calling Jamie for future painting and drywall repair jobs. Thank you so much once again.

As most century home owners can tell you, decorating frequently turns into renovating! So, when the mudding came off the plaster walls along with the wallpaper, we were not terribly surprised. We called Jamie’s and Tom came around, bringing with him a great deal of experience working on plaster walls. He did an amazing job – Thanks Tom!! Since a picture is worth a thousand words, I’ll attach a couple here and save the typing.

Jamie was very quick to respond and gave us a reasonable quote. He did a great job mudding and taping our basement room. They worked very hard to get the job done promptly and kept everything as clean as possible. Jamie is very friendly and easy to deal with and I would not hesitate in calling him or recommending him for future jobs.

The results are great and it took only 2 weeks to complete, better than my expectations.

I needed my basement ceiling, bathroom and railing drywalled. I called Jamie based on the rating on Homestars. I was given a fair quote and they started the job 3 weeks later. When you are living in a house, it is never fun to live through a drywall job, and this was no exception, however the contractors were on time, did a very good job and cleaned up after themselves. I purchased a home that was in need of some restoration. Namely, the original (1955) ceiling badly needed refinishing, and after I removed a stub wall and some cabientry, the walls needed to be filled in and smoothed. Additionally, there was an old feature wall covered in mirrors over the original plaster that need to be removed and prepped. In the garage (25x25), there were over 300 drywall patches that required filling, mudding and taping as well as paint.

This was a large scope of work and I was on an extremely tight timeline. Jamie and I traded emails regarding the work and he provided a budgetary quotation based on my description. After conducting a walk through on the home, Jamie actually reduced his price by about $100 and guaranteed that the work would be complete by my target date.

To my surprise, Jamie and his crew were done a full day and a half earlier, giving us a chance to do a thorough clean before our movers arrived. During the course of the work, Jamie was very responsive and professional, and oversaw the job to completion personally. I could not ask for a better experience with a contractor and would recommend Jamie and his team to anyone looking to make minor or major changes to the interior of a home.

Jamie and his team painted our basement renovation. They did a thorough job, not missing a single detail from priming and painting to patching and caulking baseboards and casing. The finished job was tip top. Equally important, Jamie's customer service is above and beyond. He met the schedule proposed, showed up when he said he would, and quickly responded to any questions or concerns we had. He did a final walk through with us and when we had a few minor things we wanted fixed, he personally fixed them himself to make sure we were completely satisfied. It is hard to find great customer service these days, but Jamie is the best out there.

Jamie and his team did a great job on my basement and would definitely recommend them. The quote was done quickly and professionally, Jame is very quick to respond to e-mails and calls, which was much appreciated before and during the installation! We had taken all the wood paneling out of the basement and were replacing it with drywall to update. The drywall guys were quick to install and Jamie and his team were great about letting us know when they were going to arrive and which portions of the job were going to be completed each day. JP did an exceptional job at cutting the holes in our ceiling for pot lights, they look perfectly straight, and it made them very easy to install later on, which is definitely something that I would have struggled with on my own. They said that they would get the job done in a weeks time and they met that commitment even working on a Sunday for the finishing sanding. It looked great when they were all done, Jamie also mentioned that if anything was not too our liking or touch-up's need to be made to call and it would be fixed right away. We did the painting ourselves and noticed a couple of minor thing we would like to have fixed and sent an e-mail they were fixed that day! I was impressed with the quick response, you cannot beat same day service! Definitely recommend Jamie and his team!
