We had a water leak in 2nd storey of the house, which came down through the dining room ceiling on the main floor. Jamie was prompt about coming for the estimate and the price was fair for the amount of work required. The wait time for him to be able to do the work was 2 weeks, which worked well with my schedule.

He promised the job would be done from a Monday through a Friday with final sand, painting and cleaners coming Friday to clean up. Lo and behold a miracle (for this city!) happened (I've had many bad experiences of someone promising, starting, then disappearing and the frustration of chasing them endlessly to get work completed).

But Jamie showed up when he said he would, did what he said he would and charged exactly according to the estimate. The drywalling, mudding/taping, painting and cleaners were all of a quality I would expect. They were very careful of their surroundings and papered off the floor while mudding and built a little room for the final sanding to keep the dust down in the rest of the house. Then the cleaners swooped in and cleaned the entire main floor.

I am extremely happy with Jamie and the crew's level of professionalism and work ethic. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

The ceiling texture was falling off in our ensuite after about ten years. After calling around, I decided on Jamie to do the re-texture, mostly because he was able to get it done in a shorter time. I met him on site the day he was starting, and gave him a key so he could come and go without me needing to be there (the house was vacant).
The ceiling repair looks great (a couple of paint pulls from the taping, but that's really unavoidable). I have absolutely no issues with the workmanship.
I do have a concern with the clean-up, however. There was texture on a wall at the entry of the home, and on one of the walls in the master bedroom, and an attempt to wipe up in the bathroom itself resulted in smears on the countertop, and old texture was left on the floor around the toilet. I expected to come in and have the only evidence that he'd been there be the new ceiling, not to have to clean up after him. I was not impressed with the mess.
Other than that, good guy to work with.

Jamie rescued my poor attempt at finishing my basement. When we met he explained what needed to be done and how long it would take, the cost was very fair. Jamie went above and beyond by fixing some minor mistakes I made as well of what he was contracted to do, I really appreciate it. On top of everything mid project his wife gave birth! Congrats again. I would 100% recommend Jamie to anyone I know needing work done. Thanks again for everything Jamie.

1970's kitchen with imitation brick - removal of brick and mortar took first layer of drywall off. Jamie did 3 coats of mud and sanded - all ready for paint now! Also fixed walls and stipple ceiling from water damage. He did a wonderful job and was a pleasure to work with. Definitely will hire again - cupboards are next!

I hired Jamie for mudding/taping of pre-hung drywall, knockdown on the ceiling and priming of walls for paint. After the work started I decided to hire Jamie for painting as well.
I hired Jamie for his genuine personality. His quote was fair  (and he always sticks to it), he responded quickly to all questions I had, and was able to work around my shift working schedule and got the work done. When painting started there were a few issues with the taping and sanding between paint layers that needed some work and Jamie was in quickly to fix them and didn't leave till we were both happy on the last day. I would definitely recommend Jamie and hire him again for any future work.

Jamie was awesome. Our experience started with a friendly face to face to chat and a review of our needs; and within 48 hours we received a very attractive quote. Service dates were set in a timely fashion and Jamie provided enough time without rushing to provide the completed product. He has truly been a pleasure to work with. Jamie had to redo (mud, sand and paint) our entire garage due to an inept and vindictive builder who intentionally botched the job. We will be having Jamie back to finish our floor and do some interior work. I would ecstatically recommended Jamie and his crew without question. He is one of the few trades we have encountered during addressing our deficiencies of our new home build who is actually a professional and cares about his work and the people he is helping. I would book now, as his calendar is filling faster by the day.

Jamie was able to turn my self attempted fishing job into a seamless and well done basement. He was able to quote me and start the job relatively quick, and he was able to work around my schedule in order to complete the job. Definitely recommend
