A couple of years ago we had Joel replace our upstairs bathroom fan. He did a wonderful job. So when our basement bathroom fan stopped we didn’t hesitate to call Joel. We appreciate his expertise and professionalism. Joel has become our and our extended family’s go to person for electric services.

He came in and had the basement wired in a day and then came back for a final when we needed. The job was exceptional and on budget. I would definately recommend him to friends.

There is no question that Joel, the owner of Marshal Electric, was the right person for the replacement of our three bathroom fans. This is his area of specialty, and he is extremely experienced and knowledgeable in doing this kind of work. He handles everything including removing/installing fans and duct work. After seeing a friends rave reviews on Joel we decided to get him in to give us a quote on replacing a bathroom fan. When he was checking it out he noticed that the dryer duct work had come detached and was venting into the attic as well. He quoted us on replacing the fan, repairing and cleaning the dryer duct and installing two outside plug in and covers. We had him in to complete the work and he did a great job. Carefully and professionally completing the job and checking in with us along the way. We even had him take a look at at another potential job and he told us he didn’t need to be done instead of quoting it just to get the work. I would not hesitate to use him again in the future.

We had problems with a leaky bathroom fan over the winter and brought in a roofing company to look at the leak. They said the problem was a poorly installed bathroom fan and lack of proper duct work to vent the air. They said we'd have to book an electrician to install the fan while they would install the duct work. We were hoping for a company that could do all in one. We saw the many positive reviews of Marshal Electric and decide to contact Joel. To our relief, he told us that he did it all. Installation and duct work.

Joel just wrapped up at our house and you wouldn't even know that he was here. He cleaned up the job site (and even cleared some leaves from our gutter while he was on the roof). The fan is whisper quiet. What impressed us most about Joel was his attention to detail. He called in the morning as he was picking up the materials and checked with us the colour of our shingles so he could match the roof vent. To me, that speaks to his level of craftsmanship. You can tell that he's proud of his work because he goes above and beyond to make sure the job is done right. The fact that he did all of this during the hottest day of the summer was truly amazing. I would definitely contact Marshal Electric for our next job.

Joel put up with me for a year and a half while I slowly renovated my entire home from the studs. He must have came by and worked at my home over a dozen times during this period. I noticed that numerous contractors working in my home would mention how meticulous and careful he was. Working alongside of him on some days, it was immediately apparent he goes above and beyond. I'm really happy I went with Joel. In total, I had about 30 potlights installed, an entire kitchen rewired, appliances relocated, two bathrooms rewired, and several outlets pig-tailed. There have been no issues thus far. I will recommend Joel to anybody I know that is looking for electrical work.
