I had a very positive experience with Peter and his team. Peter is very professional, knowledgeable, and a fair person. His crew is efficient and friendly. Materials were delivered one day earlier. Work was completed professionally and cleaned up on time. Peter used high quality material and provided warranty at a reasonable price. It is my pleasure to write this review for City Roofing and Aluminum Co. I just got my roofing job done by this company. I found Peter Yee and his team of workers to be real experts and professionals. They did not only meet all my expectations they exceeded them. They used high quality material and all work done according to Ontario building codes. They did such a good cleanup after the job was done they left the place even better than before. Anything extra I asked them to do, they did it gladly. I got quotes from five contractors Peter’s price was the best value I could get for my money. Anybody looking for a roofing contractor I would suggest, you must check him out. . Highly recommended.

Recommended by a friend and called Peter in April. Peter came by and provided 2 reasonable alternative choices for a complete roof replacement, with pro and con explanations for the choices. The job was scheduled for the following week and materials were delivered 2 days before. The crew arrived on time in the morning and they did a very professional job in covering up all the windows that could be affected by the debris from the old roof removal. They spent the rest of the day setting up the new roof, removing old materials and clean up around the areas. Peter came by once in a while to check on things and talked to the crew. Overall a very well job done by evening. Note: Peter helped us to make decision on installing the maximum flow vent is a big plus as it helps to cool down the roof much much faster. Thanks again Peter for a great job well done.

I would like to thank Peter and his crew for a roofing job well done. They are very professional and their work is highly commendable. Peter took his time to answer all my questions to my full satisfaction and provided the details as to what is included. He even threw in 2 downspout extensions to avoid water from running down the shingles above the garage. At the end of the day he provided me the 10-year labour warranty certificate plus the warranty from the shingle manufacturer and reminded me to call him for any issues which may arise. The crew cleaned up neatly as well. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for a roofing contractor I highly recommend City Roofing. City Roofing replaced most of the houses in our neighbourhood. When Peter gave me a quote I mentioned to him about a leak on my gutters and he repaired it at no extra cost. Peter is very professional, honest and knowledgeable. His workers are efficient and their workmanship are excellent. I thank you again Peter for the job well done.

Peter and his crew are a pleasure to deal with and provide exceptional service. it took them 1.5 days to re-shingle my house and we were very pleased with the end result. Highly recommended.

I got a referral from a friend and called Peter for a quote. The contractor who was doing insulation during the winter times noted lot of molds in my roof. Peter came and checked for me, and provide the solution and also provided the sample shingle and plywood. peter chose high quality materials and all made in Canada.

On the installation date, eight workers showed up and replace the plywood, shingles in one day. They also install new ventilation system for me, which i didnot have it. And i have three washrooms on second floor, and Peter's team reconnect the ventilation of the washroom to the roof. originally the ventilation was not connect to the roof which caused me some problem in the winter times.

overall very satisfied with peter's work, reasonable price, high quality material, good recommendations and advice for the ventilation approach. And get the work done in a day with a big team, which really appreciated. I have a young baby at home, so the sooner it is done the better.

I had about 6 or 7 quotes ranging from 5k-14k; this one came in around the middle of the range, although some of the lower quotes were for inferior materials or less work (less plywood replaced). Main reasons for choosing them were:1. Peter's honest demeanor and willingness to discuss and explain animal protection and ventilation design2. availability to start within a week or two (old roof was in very rough shape)3. reasonable price for the work quoted. He uses BP certified and warrantied materials and is WSIB insured.The crew was acceptable, but would recommend supervising to ensure that they do a thorough job, at least if there are any "unique" concerns or parts of the job. Peter comes by himself mid-way through to do some inspecting and detailed work like the ventilation.He noticed the bathroom fan ventilation ducts were uninsulated (code violation) and voluntarily went out to buy and install insulated ones himself before closing up the roof, free of charge. I happened to have noticed this already beforehand and had planned to fix it later but was thoroughly impressed with his initiative to go beyond the quoted work to do the job right without my mentioning it.My only issue was with his promise to come back and finish off cutting an extra vent hole in the soffit. It was consistent with his desire to do a proper job and I appreciated that he didn't charge extra for it, but it took almost 3 months of back and forth before he managed to come in and get the 30 minute job done. I understand that it wasn't a priority since he already had his money and had other things to do, but it was a big inconvenience and waste of my time.
