I called City Roofing on a Saturday afternoon but got his voice mail. Peter returned my call that evening at around 7 pm and I told him I needed to have all my roof vents replaced. He immediately scheduled me for a next day visit and repair. That's fast service! Price was fair so I had him proceed with the job and it was all done by Sunday evening. Good job Peter!

Peter contacted me through a posting I created on Homestars. I have attached an entire transcript of my conversation with Peter Yee after he first called me. You will see this deadbeat is full of promise and never showed up. I had to contantly babysit Peter and ask him if he was coming. He never showed up once. First because he was too busy with another job. Next, he says will show at 9:00 am (before any rain was to start that day) only to conveniently be so close to my house at noon and turn the car around because it was raining (It stoped raining a half hour later). Eventually he just stopped replying. Definitly call this company if you want someone overprinced and unreliable who wont even show up. Found a local person to do the job for half the price. Thanks Peter, you are top notch respectable person in the industry. We should all be so lucky to want to do business with a company like yours with such great integrity!

I had my roof replaced by City Roofing 3 years ago. Recently I found some nails were loose so I called Peter to fix them. It was not an emergency case so I didn't expect he come right away in their peak season, but he came at his earliest possibility anyway. He patiently check everywhere and fixed more than I asked. I am very satisfied with their service and would be very happy to recommend them to others.

Had roofing repair work done with Peter a year ago. This year the roof started to leak again and we called Peter to come back and fix the problem. We made two appointments with him (which was set by him), but he never show up and he doesn't even bother to call and let us know he can't make it, wasted two days of our time. When we finally got a hold of him through e-mail he just keep on making excuses and not giving us straight answers. We eventually got tired of his poor communication and the major delays we decided to find other company. THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE EVER!! I would definitely not recommend hiring them for any work.

We had our roof replaced by City Roofing and Aluminum in late August. Peter was very meticulous in explaining the technical features of roofing and different options. His team worked in unison and was quick in getting into gear. After the job was finished, Peter stayed behind to do a thorough check. He added extra measures to ensure the attic is animal-proof, and even put on new chalking to our bay window, which is not part of their work. We are very happy with the professionalism of the team.

Peter and his team finished the work in a day. When I came home around 7 pm, Peter was cleaning up my driveway and along the house. He went back up to the roof to do a final inspection and took pictures making sure everything is in order. He showed me the pictures and explained to me what has been replaced.
He even trimmed a tree branch at my front yard which has blocked the bay window for long time. His dedication in providing excellent service to his customers is the first time I even experienced. I do not hesitate a second to refer his company to others and secure his company service in future. Thanks a lot, Peter.

City Roofing did a great job on our roof. I was one of the last on our street to get it done and I know many in our area have been using them. Peter was patient with his explanations of the work needed and the various options. He comes in with a fairly large team which means they are able to do the work in one day. They do a thorough clean up when completed.

Peter was professional and courteous, explaining what needed work with arial photographs. He looked for way to stay within budget and only made necessary recommendations. Instead of costly vents, he replaced old vents with new larger vents which would provide necessary ventilation without extra cost.
The work was done on time and perfect clean up. Not a plant was damaged in my yard!

He also very willingly helped with work which had nothing to do with his roofing project - releiving my stress levels as I had no idea how to do them myself.

When it comes to renewing roof shingles, I think most homeowners like myself are not very knowledgeable. We hired Peter and his team based on their excellent reputations … my parents and many of their friends had used their services and highly recommend City Roofing. Peter answered all our questions patiently, he makes sure we understand our options and their pros/cons. Other than replacing our shingles, he also did a lot of extra work for us without any extra fee. I guess he is the kind of guys who cannot see a problem without fixing it.
