First Choice Fence

I am writing this for my mother who is not computer savvy. She was very pleased with the service and the workmanship for removing an old fence and replacing it with a new fence. She is very pleased with the new fence, thank you.

Pratema and team did a great job of fencing part of our yard. She was quick to respond, came for site inspection and provided a reasonable quote.
Before the work day she came for another inspection and her team came on the appointed day and did a good job.
I had told her that the fenced area was intended as a dog run and even though we have slopes her team made sure there were no gaps to the ground.

Pratema was quick to respond to my query and arranged for a visit. We discussed the options available to me considering the needs of the site and my budget. The work included a chain link front and side yard fence and also a wooden portion to give privacy to the backyard. The team completed the work as scheduled. I found them efficient and professional. Overall the job was satisfactory.

Pratema was quick to reply to my inquiries, came out to view the job and the price for material and install was fair and reasonable. She and her team were very professional and a pleasure to work with. We're very happy with the fence; great workmanship and it looks great. Thanks Pratema and crew!

It looks like this company has done a lot of high quality fence work and I'm sure they are experienced. But I did want to share one instance where Pratema and her team behaved extremely unprofessional - they basically weaseled themselves out of doing an estimated project and ended up wasting a lot of my time.

To acknowledge upfront, our town house property wasn't an easy project to begin with. We needed 2 x 23 foot side fences replaced without good access (as we're facing a condo and material would have to be brought over an existing fence).

Nevertheless, we were upfront about this, and Pratema visited our property to understand the situation. She took pictures, we agreed to a price, put in a written estimate, she took a deposit and we set a date. I took the time to obtain permission from neighbours and the condo, and moved patio furniture around.

Today, the crew arrived for the agreed start date and I could see from their body language that there was hesitation to start. After 30 minutes of looking around, Pratema basically decided that they can't do one side of the fence and pulled out of the agreed estimate.

My gut feel is that the project was too complicated for the amount, and they prefer larger and easier projects. So they found a reason to disband.

This alone is highly unprofessional and I would not recommend them to anyone (even though she was nice enough to give back the deposit).

Pratema and her team came in for a quick estimate and was able to complete the job with no issues. She was able to attend to all my questions and provided me with a fair price. Would recommend to others!

The team from First Choice Fence did a great job putting in a chained link gate for me. Very professional, courteous and quick. Even though the job was small they treated it like a big project. No corners were cut and the price was more then fair. I highly recommend this company for any project.

The team from First Choice fence did a great job in building 2 fences (one metal and one wood) that border a back yard pool. Pratema and her staff do excellent work and follow through to make sure the customer is satisfied including the neighbours. I am a repeat customer and will definitely hire First Choice Fence for future projects.

Pratema and her team did a great job replacing my old fence that had fallen over. They were very professional and all of the work was completed within 3 days back in June 2019. Its been 7 months since the installation and the fence is still standing strong. I am very happy with their work and highly recommend them!
