Our friend recommended iwood after they did a great job on her kitchen. Pawel gave us a detailed quote and the final bill was very close to that quote. We did request several alterations/upgrades and we were always advised if there were any additional costs. Pawel has a network of suppliers that have quality product at reasonable cost. The project took less than a month to complete after design and they showed up on time every day. Unforeseen challenges were always handled easily and thoughtfully. iwood are pros, experienced and trustworthy. We highly recommend them!

I Wood did an amazing job on my kitchen Reno this year. I interviewed 5 other companies all from HomeStars before meeting Pawel. When I compared apples to apples he was the most reasonable, approachable, and I just knew he would be easy to work with. He never lets you down, always calls you back, arrives on time, and gets the job done in a reasonable timely manner. There were several unexpected, unforeseen problems which he dealt with, without hesitation, and was totally transparent about any additional costs. When I changed my mind about a "pocket door" he had already begun to work on, he just smiled and stated: "NO PROBLEM". That is Pawel....honest, easy going, reliable, and dependable.

I am extremely pleased to write a review for Iwood construction, regarding my basement renovation experience. I decided hiring Iwood construction, as my contractor, to renovate my entire basement due to the loss from the July 2013 flood. I was very impressed with the professionalism and expertise carried through the entire renovation process. The workmanship was superior, from installing a new bathroom, laying porcelin tiles, installing drywall, painting, custom made bookcases, etc. The contractors were very pleasant, attentive, hardworking, and extremely trustworthy. I could leave my home while they were working and never have a worry. The crew paid extra attention to detail and cleaned up as they went along. The contractors worked well together and had the job done within the timeframe quoted.
I now have a beautiful basement and grateful I had Iwood construction do the work. It was worth every penny! A big thank to Pawel and his team.

I-wood Construction totally renovated our 2nd floor bathroom, and upgraded our master bedroom. Pawel and his team did excellent work from beginning to end. He was always punctual, and would call ahead if there was any change to his schedule. The added value with Pawel is his ability to problem-solve and find creative solutions to problems that inevitably arise when renovating an old house. He is always cheerful and easy-going; no job is too difficult and he goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy with the work done.

Iwood Construction completed a renovation of my condo for me in 2015. The renovation involved removing and replacing approximately 200 s.f. of tile in the kitchen, hallways and main bathroom. Pawel and his crew spent two weeks on the job, working around many appliances and cabinets, all the while leaving the space usable as they worked.

They also removed and replaced all of the tile and shower hardware in the shower stall in my ensuite.

The workmanship was excellent and Pawel is extremely good to work with. I have no reservations whatsoever recommending them for home renovation work.

We recently asked i-wood construction to do some renovations in our second floor: remove the closets and replace the floor. Pawel and his associates did an excellent job of both. They removed the closets and patched the drywall seamlessly. They removed the old hard wood floor, reinforced the sub-floor where the floor creaked and installed a very nice hard wood floor. Pawel took the time to give use the solution we needed for a difficult transition from the stairwell to the floor. The work was done is good time and they removed all garbage after. We will certainly ask i-wood construction to help us with future renovations.
